This KichenAid appliance cleans well and is solidly built, with wonderful features like a 3rd shelf that is great for knives and container tops, plus a permanent track that keeps the lower rack in place. Those who claim they can't fit tall glasses on the top rack due to 3rd shelf are imistaken. My tall glasses fit quite well on both outside sections.

Our dishes are coming out fine for the most part. I use the normal wash setting with the heat dry. My only concern is the water that is still on the dishes after the cycle is complete. Not usually an issue when I leave dishwasher running at night.

Thought it would clean and dry better. Sometimes dishes just don’t seem so clean

Kitchen Aid just makes the best products now for large appliances. The Korean firms may have more doodads and gimmicks, but they don't hold up over time. Kitchen Aid has solid products. When the door closes, you can hear and feel the seal. And the noise level? What noise? You won't even know that it's running.

It really cleans without rinsing first and it is sooo quiet!

Dishwasher is great! It cleans dishes extremely well! The drying process is why we got the dishwasher. The only reason I give a 4 is because our first one stopped working after two weeks. Replacement came fast and it has worked great!

I gave this dishwasher a 4 and not a 5 star because the top third rack is not really functional. The bottom two racks slide so nicely in and out, while the upper 3rd rack barely pulls out! It feels like it is not on any type of ball bearings. Plus if I have the top row in the upper positing (the top pull out- right below the 3rd top rack- can either be adjusted higher or lower depending on the sizes of your dishes) I cannot load my bowls and use the 3rd rack. The bowls get stuck on the 3rd rack and make it impossible to even use. If I lower that rack, then my taller dinner plates will not fit in the bottom. I still love this dishwasher, however I think it would have been easier to just leave the 3rd row out or at least give it better ball bearings.

With my 50+ years of marriage we have owned many different dishwashers and this is the best of them all. Can be a little pricey but worth it. It cleans like none other that we have owned. We did get it for a great price which made it even better. Thanks Best Buy

This dishwasher is extremely quiet and does an decent job of clean dishes. It does not completely dry the dishes and take a while for all of the water to completely dry after washing dishes.

This dishwasher was not what I expected at all. I did a lot of research and found this product did not meet my expectations. You can not use large Tervis cups on top and load basic plates on the bottom. Poor design. The soap dispenser did not clear all the way and had leftover soap both times I ran a cycle. The dishwasher came damaged and took over 20 hours of on hold with an operator to get it scheduled for return. I returned dishwasher this product and bought a thermador sapphire dishwasher.

This was the 2nd version of this model we bought due to our first was having a problem with its washer pump. It cleans well and the updates with the newer version (ours was the first year model) cleans even better.

This dishwasher cleans really well. You have to make sure to use rinse-aid or there will be an excess of water build up on the silverware. It's a little noisy, but overall works well.

It is probably the lowest price dishwasher in high-ends category you can buy. One major diff you can see is it comes with 3x3=9 main washing arms, comparing to 3 in regular dishwashers. It is very quiet when running and the results are much better than my previous Whirlpool dishwasher at about $700. However there are some issues. The holes on silverware baskets it too big and cannot hold chopsticks. The noisy level is higher when it drain water out at the end of each cycle. The 3rd rack cannot fold so I cannot use 3rd rack because everytime I have 1 or 2 glasses need be clean and the 3rd rack blocked it.

The Kitchenaid dishwasher has very good features and works very well. Especially like the fact that Kitchenaid still has a dry (heater) function where others have gone to some kind of European model that doe not dry the dishes.

I entertain often and spent a lot of time rinsing dishes before I put them in the dishwasher I had bought 2 years ago from a different store. I was so unhappy with my previous dishwasher. I love this dishwasher! I can clean up after a dinner party so much faster and the dishes come out CLEAN.

My wife really likes Kitchenaid so she just asked for top of the line newest model

This is a quite and reliable dishwasher. I am familiar with this model because my daughter has it and I have used it. However, the six week Best Buy delivery time is too much.

We love this dishwasher. Truely the quietest dishwasher we have ever owned. You have to just about put your ear on it to check if it is on.
