I am using the recommended pods. The center and top rack glide function is not as silky smooth as described. Not a big deal as cleaning is more important. I wondered about the open-door drying creating an issue with condensation outside of the washer. It has not been an issue, and everything is bone dry.

Love the removable silverware tray. The options allow you to customize for different dishes and make sure everything is perfectly dry! Best Buy delivery and installation was awesome!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While it seems to clean OK, it is much noisier than expected (even more so than my old 13-year-old KitchenAid). It just seems incredibly cheaply made. The top two racks slide poorly, especially when there's something in them, while the bottom one slides like greased lightening - until it hits the door and it seems to drop like a lead weight. Must be very careful about putting glass in any of the racks as a result. KitchenAid quality has tanked significantly since Whirlpool bought them out. Very sad as I had such respect for KitchenAid and when it came time to replace my old one, I didn't even bother to check any other brands. I'm switching it out for a Bosch as that's what the repairman recommended.
