    Beauty & Power in one

This is a beautiful appliance on the outside (and in) but that hides a beast of a cleaning machine. Very powerful and thorough - we are pleased with this purchase

    Soooo Quiet!

I love my new Kitchenaid dishwasher. It is so quiet I can't even tell when it's on half the time. My kitchen and family room are connected so I used to have to wait until everyone went to bed to run it. Now I can run my dishwasher any time because it's so quiet. The racks are deep so I can fit everything in there at once including pots and pans! It cleans so thoroughly that I don't have to pre-wash! I absolutely love it!

    So far so good

We were forced to purchase one after doing without for a couple of months and liked the look of this design the best. It is much quieter than our old machine (which was around 6 or 7 years old). Sometimes we forget that it is running which is very nice but it does have a light on the front to let us know. I know some don't dry that well and this one seems to do a good job. We hope it will last as long as our old machine!

Ok dishwasher, I won't buy KA again

    Posted .

This is my 3rd KA dishwasher, bought one for previous house, and this house came with KA that we replaced. This is probably the worst one of the bunch. I have had this dw for over 2 months. I have had a few loads come out dirty, that I have had to rewash. Also, I can only put my 10.5 in dinner plates on the bottom rack when the top rack is in the highest position. I did not have this problem with my other 2 KAs, I could put my dinner plates in the bottom rack and adjust the top as needed. Now I only can wash dinner plates when I am washing smaller things. This is a REAL inconvenience for me. We are building in the next year, KA will NOT go in the new house. I very rarely have a full load, because I have things that I cannot put together in the dishwasher. I really enjoyed my last 2 KA, but this one is really an inconvenience for people who cook and use many different sizes of pitchers, plates and serving ware.

    Quality Dishwasher

    |
    Posted .

I love this dishwasher. I replaced my 15 year old GE dishwasher which was so loud and started leaking at the door. The kitchenaid is very quiet compared to my old one and I love the stainless steel interior. The cycles do run longer (over 2 hours) but that is ok for me. The dishwasher is very sharp looking! Very happy with this purchase.

    Quiet and stylish

We bought this primarily because we bought a new KitchenAid refrigerator and wanted to match. Our old dishwasher was great and I was concerned that a new one wouldn't clean as well so I was reluctant to change. Since my old appliances were black and the new refrigerator is stainless steel it made sense. I had nothing to worry about, this dishwasher is great! Looks and performs beautifully!

Looks great in the new kitchen

This looks great in the new kitchen. The first couple times we used it the dishes came out a little wet. We started to use the rinse aid recommended by kitchen aid to see if this would fix the problem and it did! Clean dry dishes every time now.

Read this so you save yourself headaches

Learn from my experience. ONLY buy dishwashers that have a heating element, like Kitchen Aid and a couple other brands. If you don't find such cycle on your pending purchase... DO NOT BUY. Learn from my mistake. The heating element does not come with all dishwashers so make sure you do your research. I found this model to be worthy, strong and has some weight on the door giving me confident in the quality.

    Quiet, Sturdy and Cleans Well

    |
    Posted .

This replaced a 15 year old dishwasher, so it is much more quiet than what I had. It has many more cycles than I am used to and I have tried several, but they average about 2 hours to clean, where as my old one was super loud, but everything was clean and dry in an hour. Apart from this I don't have any complaints. The drawers don't slam inside.

It does not seem to have the room that I expected.

When I have a number of dishes to wash after a family meal, I usually have to wash two loads. Frankly, I expected the dishwasher to have more room. I do wish that it had had that third rack. I do like the quietness as it is washing the dishes. That is probably the dishwasher's greatest asset. The dishwasher does get the dishes very clean.

you get what you pay for

we purchased the house with the entire kitchen full of kitchenaid appliances. the dishwasher electric panel broke i believe the dishwasher lasted 6 years so we decided to get a new dishwasher and stick with kitchenaid since all the other appliances were kitchenaid. there were many different models at varying price levels. this was right around black friday so a lot of the models were on sale. i decided to buy the cheapest one. it doesn't clean the dishes as well as the previous model we had. there is either dirt left over on the plates or even after making sure the rinse aid is full after drying there are spots on the glasses. very dissapointed

This dishwasher does it's job! We looked at a lot of different products before we made our choice and we found a moderately priced item that works really well. It is super quiet, cleans very well and leaves no spots. We are very happy with our purchase.

So far this is a great dishwaser

I replaced my 10 year old, dishwasher with this new stainless steel model, because it was time to upgrade my kitchen. The old one still worked fine, but it was dated looking. While looking at all the brands I decided to buy KItchenAid . So far I really like the front controls the many features. So far the dishes come out clean and the heated dry works great.

    Great machine for the money

    |
    Posted .

Bought this Kitchen Aid having had a Bosch before this one. The Kitchen Aid cleans and performs much better than our previous machine. Actually costs less to run, and was over four-hundred dollars less. Couldn't be happier. My parents had a Kitchen Aid in 1968. When they sold the house to parents of a girl I went to school with, it was finally replaced in 1998.

    Is it running?

    |
    Posted .

I'm sure glad that the unit has a light to let me know when it's running. It is sooooo quiet. I've had to put my ear up to the door just to make sure that the light is correct. Our living area is small and we were worried that a dishwasher would make too much noise for us to enjoy conversation and/orTV. Our worries were unfounded as this is the quietest dishwasher that we have ever owned.

I replace my aging dishwasher that came with the house. This dishwasher is totally worth it. Like others have said, it is very quiet running. It has a sleek design. The stainless steel interior is a plus. Only thing I wish is that the controls light up.

    So quiet!

This dishwasher confuses me; did I start it? Is it running? I can't tell because it's so very quiet. Night and day difference to the dishwasher it replaced. On top of that, it's slick and stainless steel inside and is amazing when it comes to cleaning.

quality product that looks great too

We recently purchased the Kitchenaid double wall oven and were very pleased. So when we decided to replace our aging Whirlpool Gold dishwasher, we obviously went with the new Kitchenaid model. There really is no comparison between the two. This Kitchenaid dishwasher looks great, feels much more solidly built, and is much quieter. Completely satisfied. We got what we paid for.

    Great upgrade

    |
    Posted .

This dishwasher is a great upgrade from our previous installed unit (which was installed in our new home). Our last dishwasher would take four hours to wash dishes and dry them. And still at the end of that the dishes were not clean and not dry all the time. After a one hour cycle with the new dishwasher the dishes were clean and dry. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

    Black Stainless -- beautiful dishwasher!

    |
    Posted .

Our previous dishwasher was a Bosch, and I loved it, but when it came time to get a new one, I was drawn to the Black Stainless that Kitchen Aid (and not Bosch) made. I'm tired of seeing Stainless Steel everywhere and feel it's going to go out of style, so I was happy to see something new and fresh. The Kitchen Aid cleans everything beautifully! Highly recommend!
