pro - nice design. Added top row rack for cups and silverware. con - the racks don't seem as sturdy as my old KitchenAid dishwasher.

The washer itself seems to be very nice, and I agree with other reviewers. My one issue that needs mentioning....for the few geeks like me that actually read the manual, it sucks. Almost all of it is about the installation. There is only a page or two that covers operations, and most of that isn't specific (or in many cases, doesn't even apply) to this model. I really wanted something that explains and compares what each of the options and cycles do. For example, what's the difference between "express wash" and "light"? Between "rinse only" and "sani-rinse"? How long does each option or cycle take? The manual addresses none of this, either the print copy or the manuals available at the KitchenAid website (same as the print copy). They put absolutely zero effort in producing a manual. So.....appears to be a nice product. But I sure wish the manuals take the time to explain how to actually use it. They don't. So, all you can really do is push the "pro wash" or "normal" buttons. If providing other features and options, at least make an effort to explain them.

This my second Kitchenaid dishwasher. I just loved my first and had to choose another. It is so quiet. The new third shelf is very handy and makes the makes the machine more spacious. The glasses just sparkle.

Excellent dishwasher and much quieter than we thought it would be. It cleans, washes and dries as well or better than our previous Kitchen Aid dishwasher. The filter alternative is much better, IMO, that those in other popular brands. AND IT IS QUIET! The installation process was very thorough, efficient and professional.

It cleans very well, and I love having the third level. Very easy to use also.

Geek squad was great at installing perfectly. The machine is amazing. Cleans better then our last kitchen aid and is ultra quiet. I love the 3 racks as well.

Love the capacity of this dishwasher. The 3rd rack is nice for overflow items. I would say that I was expecting the dishwasher to be quieter, as there is a humming pitched tone that is on and off for a bit early in the cycle, it then goes away. Not sure if this was a defect or all of them make this humming sound at a certain point in the cycle.

I was not loving the price at first, but once we got it installed and started using the product, I have never complained once. This product is made in America. You can fit so many dishes in here I am in heaven. The 3rd rack is amazing and so useful. You can fit items up there that other models can't. It has a little strainer for the drain you can pop out and dump for the bits that get stuck, if you're like me at all and don't prerinse before washing in machine. Dishes are sparkling when they come out. Love love love this product!

Love this dishwasher! So quiet you don’t even realize it’s running. Dishes come out really clean and absolutely love the top rack adds so much more room.

I love my new dishwasher! It is spacious and able to hold dishes, and pots and pans and has a third rack for extra bowls and cups and silverware. It is the QUIETEST dishwasher ever. My old one was so loud. This is amazing.

the 3 tray approach is a definite plus over my last washer I think the sound is very quiet when in use sometimes I even need to the point of getting close to be sure its running' love the 3 color indication for blue-washing, red-drying and white-completed process is a nice touch towel bar handle is great gets the job done and done well the mug rack and drinking glass rack work just great love the sprat nozzles for each cup/glass very happy with my choice

The Gentlemen who came and did the install were diligent and careful and super nice. This unit is soooo quiet and holds way more than previous dishwasher. Third row is helpful and second row height adjustment is handy.

Deceptive “Free Installation”. Installer got to my house said he couldn’t connect the plumbing. Said he’d do it for $200. But because it was a sharkbite valve with pvc to the dishwasher he wouldn’t do. Then because the dishwasher was hardwired, they couldn’t do it either. But oh wait they could for an extra $150. So far the machine looks good and seems fine. It’s one thing to need to adjust subpar plumbing. But to charge to hardwire the machine when he can do it anyway is sketchy. I don’t think we will be going back to beat buy in the future.

To date I am very pleased with my KitchenAid dishwasher. It does a great job of cleaning dishes and glassware, plus it is super quiet. The third rack is a nice addition.

This dishwasher has three racks, which is nice. Because it's so spacious, it takes longer to fill up the dishwasher than I was used to with only two racks. I've started running out of utensils between cycles, will need to get more! Overall, seems to work well, dishes come out clean. Fairly quiet while it's running. When it was installed (by Best Buy, I purchased the Totaltech installation), it started draining through the air gap, which had never happened with the old dishwasher I was replacing. Not sure if that was something to do with the new dishwasher or if the installer damaged something in the installation.

Top tier has plastic insert for knives Middle is for drinkware Bottom for pots and pans and plates It has a quick wash which does great job The normal wash does well and takes about an hour It has a cycle for tough items. This does fantastic job. The noise level is very low and does not disturb tv watching I used dry cycle once and it did well

This is our second Kitchenaid dishwasher (we moved) and we love this one even more than the first. Intelligent design. Super quiet. Third rack is great, although it doesn't quite provide the headroom I was hoping for. Love it!

I love this dishwasher! It is so quiet. I really like the third rack and it’s versatility for odd shaped things. This washer is easy to load and holds a lot of dishes. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

The dishwasher has a large capacity, and the third rack is excellent, even for plastic cups. The washing cycle is much shorter than our previous dishwasher, which would take half the day.
