This is by far the best dishwasher I have ever owned. I have never had a dishwasher that could get the dishes this clean. The cycle is long but the results are worth it. No leaks and very quiet.

We've had the dishwasher for a little under a year now, and still believe this is one of the best appliance purchases we've made (we bought a house a few years ago, and have made quiet a few appliance purchases since). It's easy to operate, super quiet, and has withstood our hefty toddler trying to climb all over it while emptying the dishwasher. And we love the third rack! I didn't know we needed one, but it's one of my favorite parts. I also love that the second rack is adjustable, so when we have bigger pans to load, we can "raise the roof" to accommodate. If you're considering this, you won't regret it!

Very nice dishwasher, 3rd rack is very useful. Most 3rd racks are utensils only but this one accommodates glassware plus utensils. The door itself is very solid as compared to others. Adjustable 2nd rack is very useful and is used often. Cleans very well. Kitchen/living room is open area but I cannot hear dishwasher at all. Free installation with purchase was an added treat.

Had it about a month and so far, so good. Really like the third rack. This unit holds a LOT more than our previous washer, a 5-year old Kitchenaid unit. As a result, we are running it less often, saving water. Cleaning and drying is excellent. Unit does seem to be a bit louder than the old one, but nothing obnoxious. Overall very happy with it. Hopefully it lasts longer than the old one. I did buy the extended warranty to be safe.

I’m wavering between 4 and 5 stars but I have been too generous in the past and am more cognizant of what is important to others. Downside - dishes are not going to be completely dry. I don’t care but a lot of you do. You may have to spend more for that. The time to complete a cycle is probably 2.5 hours and I have not actually timed it. There is a quick wash but I have not used it. I suspect environmental laws are responsible and that there is no escape with any model. Now the great points are considerable. Someone actually cleverly made use of internal space. There are three levels that are actually practical to use! There are two reasonable places to place cutlery and you can even remove the silly lower level spacers and fit everything in. You can use the highest more shallow level for plastics and have lots of room for plates and anything else. It is possible to safely wash wine glasses. It is very attractive and seems to be sturdy. Overall, it was my favorite of all the dishwashers that Best Buy has to offer and it is well priced. Maybe this should be a five but I’ve been burned once and I don’t want to mislead anyone. I would definitely choose this again if that helps.

This dishwasher is fantastic / does not disappoint! It is quiet, cleans/dries very well and also holds more than any dishwasher on the market thanks to its highly functional 3rd rack, which is a dream. I was never a fan of 3rd racks until I saw this model--love it! The door also latches well (almost as if it's magnetic), so there's no question on whether it's closed. Admittedly, this was more than we budgeted for but the functional third rack made our decision easier and is worth the extra cost. Very happy with our purchase.

Love our KitchenAid dishwasher. Super quiet and does a great job washing and drying the dishes. The third rack holds all of our knives, large kitchen utensils, and lids to the coffee mugs. We originally purchased the Cafe dishwasher and returned it to purchase this one.

Big fan of this dishwasher. It’s quiet and gets dishes clean. 3rd rack is nice - prefer the configuration of the less expensive kitchenaid but still very helpful. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely love thus dishwasher so far. I’ve only had it for a month but it cleans beautifully. Very quiet. All dishes come out sparkling clean! Be aware that the cycles run longer than you probably expect but the results are worth the wait, in my opinion. As a bonus, it looks and feels as a high quality appliance should. I am grateful I was able to get this before Christmas as I see the black stainless steel, especially, is hard to find. This is my first KitchenAid purchase and I believe it will not be my last. Lastly, kudos to the Best Buy installers who were on time, efficient, and courteous.

We purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher several weeks ago and waited about 4 weeks until it could be installed. The installers did a good job putting it in and made sure it was level and worked properly before they left. I think the wiring was confusing to them, but after tripping a breaker and resetting it, things were working again. The unit is pretty and has a large 3 rack capacity. It looks a little taller inside than the previous Sears unit we had. It is whisper quiet and you have to get down with your ear to even hear it running. I like the multiple wash settings and the performance of getting dishes sparkling clean. We originally wanted a Bosch unit, but they couldn't deliver one until October and I didn't see myself washing dishes for another 2 months. I would recommend this unit and the installing team. I even got the 10% birthday discount, too!

This dishwasher is very quiet (nearly silent) and can fit many dishes, glasses, etc. The third top rack is a much better design from the prior design (we have at another house). The third rack has minimal moving parts for cleaning and can fit several additional glasses, utensils or wine glasses. Clean and dry time seems reasonable. Black stainless is very attractive and resists hand marks and smudges.

With all the dishwashers I've had, this is by far the best in terms of cleaning. All dishes come out sparkling clean and dry with no prewashing required. Whisper quiet aloes us to run it while we're sitting watching TV without having to crank it up. The third rack is a great feature and comes in handy for larger knives and tupperware tops.

There is a lot to like about this dishwasher, it’s quiet, it looks good, and it gets the dishes very clean…when it’s working. I have had this unit for almost exactly 2 years and it has failed twice in that time. The first time it was under factory warranty and they replaced the faulty circulation pump, it only took a MONTH! Now another year has gone by and I’m in the same predicament, waiting for the service technician to show up and then I’ll probably have to wait another two or three weeks to get the new parts installed. I don’t think it is too much to expect an appliance that cost $1000 to last more than a year without catastrophic failure of a core component. I understand that sometimes things happen but for it to happen twice in two years?! I used to choose Kitchen Aid because I thought they were better quality than some other brands but it appears they are just like all the other garbage appliance manufacturers out there, not built to last.

This dishwasher is *quiet*. I replaced a 30 year old dishwasher with this one and I can barely tell when it's running. I love that there is a delay is when you can kick it off. There is A LOT of room to put things in, and the 3rd rack is fantastic. The only issue is that the shelves are really low and they are shakey when you pull them out.

I'm happy with my decision! The 3rd rack has the best design above the competing brands. I hesitated to purchase another Whirlpool since my previous Whirlpool dishwasher only lasted 7 years. But the price was right and the 3rd rack was the final sell. It does an excellent job cleaning dishes, bowls, and all the gadgets you put in the washer. Quiet wash and a handsome design. I like it.

Great dishwasher very spacious cleans very well, super quite

We are pleased with the three racks and the extra deep tub allowing many options and greater volume for placement of dirty dishes and hardware. The controls are a little complicated to determine the optimum washing cycles, especially determining how to set to have everything dry when the cycle is completed. It has been a bit of an experiment for us, The dishes always come out clean and we are pleased with the purchase. We bought this along with KitchenAids' double oven, stovetop, and trash compactor. We really like the sleek and modern look.

Super quiet, clean the dishes wonderfully....plenty of space, 3rd rack is helpful. Love the printshield finish, few fingerprints and smudges.

Great dishwasher with enough room to wash so much. The third rack is so handy to have. Makes organizing you dishes for cleaning easy. Adjustable 2nd rack allows you to put those taller dishes and pots in the bottom. So quiet barely know its running.

Quiet. Cleans thoroughly. Dries okay on normal cycle and dries well on extended cycle. Really like the 3 racks. Plenty of room.
