Ice continues to build up in the freezer. Had Kitchenaid Repair out; dude said close the door and charged us $75 for that wisdom. Now we live with this thing that won't close DAILY due to ice build up, meaning we have to take a knife out and DAILY chip out the ice or the freezer door will not close. Will never buy kitchenaid again.

Ice maker quit working. Replaced. Lights on shelves quit working. Replaced. Cooling quit working. Got it fixed. And now the ice maker quit working. Absolute junk. Worst customer service ever. Again buy something other than whirlpool or kitchenaid. Save the headache. They don't stand behind there products.

It is expensive and gets rusty quickly, I called warranty department and rust is not covered. Our house is new with no humidity problems. They sale the product as stainless steel. Also, it doesn’t have a tray so every time you serve water it end up getting doors wet.
