If you've gotten to this point of reading reviews then you have already looked at it and most likely like what you have seen. In the last 6 months of using this unit I have found only one detractor. Ice at the top of the ice bin melts down. So far the runoff IS being contained somewhere in this refrigerator. Shelf adjustments we have found to be adequate, with the middle right shelf sliding down and back to allow gallon or liter bottle storage. Right hand door shelving is also adjustable and fairly deep I think. The 2 small drawers are really nice with the soft close feature. We keep drinks in the left and cold cuts in the right. The lower drawer is actually 3, making it a no brainer to store frozen food by its size. Yes it also has a pizza compartment! With the silver interior and L.E.D. lighting, even on the shelve lips, Its cool.

Love refrigerator. Lots of room in fridge and freezer. Only con is that as soon as we got it started making loud noise. When we opened freezer door it would stop. To find out it is compressor in back of freezer. We are getting a new one on friday. Hopefully it doesnt happen with new one. Just one thing it is so worth getting the protection plan. Geek squad are the best.

The KitchenAid fridge has a beautiful design. There is a clear difference in quality of this fridge compared to many others. The design of the drawers and doors is very solid and sturdy they glide and open with ease and without any rattle. Many other refrigerators seem to have cheap parts on the inside that feel like they will break easily. My only complaint is that the icemaker is inconsistent with dispensing ice through the door. I often times find that ice does not come out even after holding the button for several moments however when I check the icebox itself there is plenty of ice inside.

Well planned refrigerator. Middle drawers for soft drinks and fruits are fantastic to avoid opening large doors. Great interior layout. Freezer tray levels work great. Ice making great but dispensing whole cubes goes from a few to too many. Overall very pleased.

I love this refrigerator. It is stylish and functional. I especially like the two middle drawers. The freezer is very large with two drawers in addition the the large divided bottom and holds a lot of items. I haven’t had any problems with items n the very back becoming frozen in the fridge portion like my old refrigerator. Very quiet when the compressor comes on,

I really like this refrigerator. The smaller drawers make it easier for my young children to reach what they need without opening the whole refrigerator. The freezer fits everything for my family with ease. The lights under the shelves make everything look really nice. I love the produce drawers. The are very smooth and come out easily to clean. The auto humidity seems to work well. I am very happy with my decision.

Some of our favorite features include the temperature variable drawer, the multiple drawers in the freezer, the movable shelf to fit larger items, and the removable ice bucket. All of the shelves and drawers pop out for easy washing, making it easier to keep everything clean. There are LED lights under the middle shelves that lights up the entire fridge. The only negative thing I would report is that there is not a lot of space for larger items. We are still rearranging shelves trying to find a good balance.

After reading so many reviews, I was skeptical to purchase this model. Complains regarding the noise being very loud was my main concern. Believe it or not I can't even notice when the refrigerator is working. I love the 2 external drawers, the platinum interior is very luxurious, the auto close doors are a nice feature. However there is limited space for taller items (the orange juice that I buy is tall & doesn't fit). It's been only a month & a half so I cannot say anything regarding the durability. Hopefully we will not face any issues. Overall very happy.

Takes some adjusting after using a side-by-side for many years. Great storage, plenty of space and options. The refrigerator shelving is somewhat challenging..... feels like there are too many shelves or not enough vertical space to utilize the shelving efficiently. I haven't fully decided if I'm going to remove a shelf completely. The ice machine works great but don't expect ice to be replenished very quickly. Also the refrigerator does not have a large ice bucket compared to my last side-by-side refrigerator. Had to have the doors replaced because one had a small dent and the other appear to have some rust on it but Best Buy quickly replaced the doors. I read many reviews prior to this purchase where folks were complaining about doors not being aligned properly. The manufacturer provides plenty of adjustment options so this was not an issue.

This refrigerator has a place for everything. The drawers that open from the outside are very handy. Easy to make a sandwich without opening the French doors to main refrigerator cabin. The two smaller drawers in freezer make it easy to find items. No digging through a cold freezer. The main/largest drawer will hold a 22 pound turkey on one side leaving a lot of room on the other half freezer side. This refrigerator has awesome lighting too.

I research and read reviews before big purchases. Bottom line on fridges is they all have bad reviews, ice maker went out, drips water, the ice dump is too loud--really? Look at the good and the bad especially the most recent. We have had this fridge for 3 weeks and it works great. Quiet, makes ice with no problem, water tastes good, and it looks great in the house. If there are any future problems I will be sure and post. Otherwise, buy away!

We did tons of research on refrigerators prior to buying this one. We had a Samsung previously which had ice maker issues. Our new home had all Kitchen Aid appliances so I wanted to match (an OCD issue). But before making the leap with this expensive one we went and looked at a ton and then went home and pulled up reviews online. I wanted to touch and feel before buying. So far this fridge has been amazing. It had TONS of space. I love the single middle drawers. I make lunches for my child and put it all in one drawer. He grabs what he needs in the morning and done. He doesn’t have to search for anything. I love the soft close of those drawers. I do wish the top doors closed a little softer, but I do like that I have to physically close them so I know they are closed. Next is the freezer, tons of room. It has 2 pull our drawers on the top and then plenty of space in the bottom big drawer. Fits our needs perfectly. Last is the ice maker! I love the location of it, in the door! And the ice bin is super easy to remove! Our Samsung ice maker bin was a nightmare to remove. This ice maker out shines our Samsung one for sure. We almost went with the counter depth one, so glad we went with the bigger one. It sticks out a little but blends in with the kitchen enough so it’s not an eyesore. Long story short. This refrigerator was worth every single penny!

I just had my kitchen aid 5 door black stainless refrigerator delivered on 06/14/17, so I haven't had it long enough to make a thorough review. So far everything seems to work as it should. It's beautiful, I love the lights and the pull out drawers are so cool. The only flaw on delivery was 2 very small dents out of the box. The only con as of now is, I wish it had more door shelfs. Otherwise, it is an awesome fridge. Love the color too.

Love just about everything about this fridge, especially the two additional drawers. Con, the ice maker holding box in the door happens to melt the ice together over a period of time if you are not constantly using ice. Just dump it, and start fresh but nonetheless, a con. Pro, the 3 compartments in the freezer. There are 2 drawers and the bottom compartment as well as a vertical place for pizzas up against the door itself. Best design for a bottom freezer I've come across. You will not be disappointed in this refrigerator.

I love to cook and this fridge seemed perfect. I loved the idea of being able to access the 2 middle drawers. The whole fridge seemed to be user friendly. That being said the love affair ended after I began to use it. First the freezer started to ice up. After only 3 months of use I had to defrost the freezer in order to have the 2 freezer drawers glide freely. I had to manually bump up the fridge to max ice and max cold to keep my fridge cold and the ice from melting. My husband kept saying the fridge was being stingy with ice. After a while it wasn't a joke and I would have to take the ice compartment out and run warm water to remove the melted/frozen ice so it would work again. I still thought it was a good fridge made in America looked good right, had a 10 year warranty. Than the door sound kept going off and I would have to physically push in the soft glide doors to close the middle 2 and the freezer. So far I have had to defrost my fridge 3 times the last time I had so much ice it took 5 hours. I called for repair. Today I came home and I have ice on the roof of my fridge. I no longer think it is a user friendly fridge but I still think it looks good in my kitchen I just wish it worked.

Overall design is good. It would have been nice if the words on the dispenser were lighted. Very pleased with the quality, lighting within the unit itself. I would recommend this refrigerator to others.

This fridge is gorgeous! The gray interior looks so good when you open the doors. It works like a charm and i have no complaints in that regard. I can hear it running when it’s quiet at night, but it has a motor, it’s going to run. Not sure why that’s such a large complaint in the reviews. My one complaint about the fridge is how easily it dents. I’ve found 4 dents in the last 4 months. Nobody is using it for tackling drills, but somehow it has more dents already than my 8 year old Frigidaire in the garage.

This refrigerator is beautiful and if you believe the description on Kitchenaid’s website, will be a centerpiece of your dream kitchen. Unfortunately It is built poorly and has not bestowed any of the value I was led to believe it possessed. THREE MONTHS into owing this appliance, the ice maker has ceased to work. Multiple appointments have been made and I’ve now reverted to buying ice at the gas station. There are leaks and drops on my new floors as every time i open the door, water drips out. It also leaks onto the tray in front where you’d place a glass for filling. I have to sop that up every morning. The trim pieces on the front of the shelves are shoddy and two of them have already come off. And it’s not as easy as just putting them back on either so whenever I move anything inside, I’m almost guaranteed to have to replace them afterwards. The freezer compartment has an issue as well, because half of the food in there has ice crystals formed on top as if there’s a draft or an issue with the seal. I almost bought the matching range, but after reading the issues with that, I held off to see how I fared with this fridge first. Really glad I did. The two stars are really only for its beauty as it is one gorgeous fridge, but the design does not bear out its function. Literal real life clickbait
