We did tons of research on refrigerators prior to buying this one. We had a Samsung previously which had ice maker issues. Our new home had all Kitchen Aid appliances so I wanted to match (an OCD issue). But before making the leap with this expensive one we went and looked at a ton and then went home and pulled up reviews online. I wanted to touch and feel before buying. So far this fridge has been amazing. It had TONS of space. I love the single middle drawers. I make lunches for my child and put it all in one drawer. He grabs what he needs in the morning and done. He doesn’t have to search for anything. I love the soft close of those drawers. I do wish the top doors closed a little softer, but I do like that I have to physically close them so I know they are closed. Next is the freezer, tons of room. It has 2 pull our drawers on the top and then plenty of space in the bottom big drawer. Fits our needs perfectly. Last is the ice maker! I love the location of it, in the door! And the ice bin is super easy to remove! Our Samsung ice maker bin was a nightmare to remove. This ice maker out shines our Samsung one for sure. We almost went with the counter depth one, so glad we went with the bigger one. It sticks out a little but blends in with the kitchen enough so it’s not an eyesore. Long story short. This refrigerator was worth every single penny!

I am incredibly disappointed!!! I love the look, style and space of this refrigerator. 5 months after delivery and installation the ice maker stopped producing ice and the ice maker constantly leaked water inside the fridge. I had to use a towel every few hours to clean up the water. This started in September, and it took 22 documented service calls of changing parts, and diagnosing before KitchenAid decided it was non-repairable. They said the insulation had been over blown in the top of the refrigerator and when it expanded it caused water to flow improperly, and it damaged the refrigerator rendering it "unrepairable" and they replaced it in January. I was excited to receive the replacement refrigerator (brand new NOT refurbished) and put this headache behind me, but here we go 9 months later, and the ice maker on the NEW refrigerator does not produce ice. Service calls again have started. I'm just waiting for it to begin leaking water inside the refrigerator like the last one. After going through reviews and dealing with this on TWO refrigerators I see it's not an isolated situation. It's beautiful, but very poor quality. Don't chance it, just buy a different refrigerator. I lost a lot of time with work, and a ton of food that was constantly getting saturated because the 1st refrigerator and here the same symptoms are presenting themselves with the new refrigerator.

It's nice that you don't have to sacrifice looks for functionality these days. This refrigerator is perfect for our needs; the space, the layout, the changeable configuration all lends to it's perfection. I'll admit, the price is high for something that keeps your food temperatures moderated, but if you're going for a particular look in your kitchen, it's worth the splurge.

The refrigerator has a lot of room, nice looking! Doesn’t make a lot of ice is the only complaint

Love just about everything about this fridge, especially the two additional drawers. Con, the ice maker holding box in the door happens to melt the ice together over a period of time if you are not constantly using ice. Just dump it, and start fresh but nonetheless, a con. Pro, the 3 compartments in the freezer. There are 2 drawers and the bottom compartment as well as a vertical place for pizzas up against the door itself. Best design for a bottom freezer I've come across. You will not be disappointed in this refrigerator.

the refrig permits the owner to control the temperature in various compartments - depending on what is being stored! It appears to be very functional and well made. The only concern I have is the refrig is noisier than I would like, especially when the ice cubes are dropped into the storage bin and immediately afterwards when refilling the tray with water

Upon receipt and delivery of our product with the installation we quickly realized the water was leaking onto the top shelf of our refrigerator. Tried to call you squad however KitchenAid has the first year product protection so I was referred to them. The technician came out from KitchenAid In 4 to 5 days. He said he had to order the part and then it took almost another two weeks to get the refrigerator repaired. Now that it is fixed it is a great refrigerator just wish that there would have been no issues off the bat.

it makes a loud noise every once in a while, but I still love it over the LG that I previously had.

This fridge is gorgeous! The gray interior looks so good when you open the doors. It works like a charm and i have no complaints in that regard. I can hear it running when it’s quiet at night, but it has a motor, it’s going to run. Not sure why that’s such a large complaint in the reviews. My one complaint about the fridge is how easily it dents. I’ve found 4 dents in the last 4 months. Nobody is using it for tackling drills, but somehow it has more dents already than my 8 year old Frigidaire in the garage.

My wife and I were in the market for a new frig for our new home. We researched friges of all names/sizes and price points. We ultimately chose this kitchen aid frig because it was versatile (removable and retractable shelving), had optimal produce storage/preservation (for we enjoy cooking with fresh herbs/vegetables), plenty of freezer space, and at the same time provided an elegant appeal to go with our kitchen and kitchen appliances. Since purchase the frig has done a great job. Cools effectively and has impressed us with its ability to preserve produce beyond our usual expected shelf life when compared to our prior frig. I've seen some reviews on this frig stating that they have had issues with the ice maker and "noise" of operation. However I have not encountered these specific problems nor any other problems for that matter. All and all we've been very satisfied with our purchase. Really recommend purchasing this item through best buy - the folks there from purchase to delivery were fantastic. A+

We originally attempted to purchase a different refrigerator from Sears Outlet but after 2 purchases, one damaged item being delivered and the second refrigerator not showing up, we gave up, got a refund and went to Best Buy. The sales associate was helpful and the product was delivered as promised, within 3-5 days (I don't recall how long the wait was, but not long). This item had good reviews and my dad liked the deeper freezer sliding trays for better organization. I subtracted a star because the water and ice panel on the door isn't as user friendly as other models out there. Its a bit tedious to have to press the button multiple times to go from ice to water when other models allow you to simply press the ice lever or water lever w/your glass, no buttons involved. Overall, we are satisfied with the refrigerator and all the other features.

This refrigerator has many features that I like. It has 4 drawers in the refrigerator- two for veggies and fruit, a smaller one between those two where my daughter puts her cans of soda, as well as a "deli" drawer. It has ice and water on the door and the ice dispenser lights up when being used. The freezer has two upper drawers which makes for great organization. The reason for the 4 stars is that the finish on the front is more of a deep gray with kind of a chocolate hue rather than black and the finish can be scratched rather easily. Overall, though, I am happy with my purchase. .

Love this refrigerator and all the drawers! We put all our soda and water in one drawer and it really saves not having to open up the big doors!! The small sliding compartment in the front of the inside drawers we keep cheese sticks and other quick snacks. Very quiet running, our Whirlpool, now in the garage made lots of noise from day 1 and it was only 3 years old!

This refrigerator is the best man made machine ever! My girlfriend and I were a little skeptical about getting into Kitchenaid but we are glad we did, couldn't be happier with the purchase. This refrigerator is very beautiful. The LED lighting wows anyone that opens its doors. We love the soft close doors, it brings the elegance out of it. We get many compliments from visitors. My only negative remark is the ice dispenser size (too small). Other than that, we are very happy so far.

Finally the 3rd one that was delivered works perfectly and is an excellent product. However as I have stated previously Best Buy’s warehouse activities need to be reviewed. The first 2 deliveries were obviously damaged and should have been prevented from being delivered to my home. I May have to consider further purchases at other locations if this type of business behavior continues. However I will say sales people and sales manager were absolutely fantastic during this process.

It is a good purchase. The refrigerator is spacious with many compartments that serve to separate the products and the freezer is excellent.

This refrigerator has been a very good purchase... So far it's storage is very adequate for 3 person house hold.... The no slam to doors are great.. it has plenty on little compartments for as would say stuff... It's a bit pricey... When you compare it with others that have screens and play music... All of which my refrigerator doesn't need to do.... It's look compliments my kitchen's well...

The best features are the crisper drawers and herb keeper. The fresh vegetables stayed fresh longer than any fridge we've owned. I stored some cilantro in the herb keeper and it stayed fresh for several weeks. It has lots of shelves, but not many ways to configure them. (One large shelf shattered while cleaning, it was quickly replaced under the manufacturer warranty.) The ice maker couldn't keep up in the hot summer, but it never stopped making ice.

Purchased this KitchenAid fridge as a scratch and dent. There were a few minor dents on the front side that are now covered with small magnets. I love the functionality of this refrigerator. The drawer slides are a higher quality then the other units I had researched. I love the LED lighting! Only complaint is that the right door is not 100% level. We noticed this in the store and they provided a service call to attempt to level door and it is in the same position. A few minutes of tinkering on our own and we got it leveled. Great fridge so far after 1 month of ownership.
