Worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fridge is probably one of the nicest ones I’ve seen. Plenty of lights inside, there’s a filter to help remove odors inside! Time will tell how it holds up but it’s really nice!

Very bad investment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In just 1 year, the compressor had to be replaced (the technician who came to replace it told me they’re having that issue a lot), and now, right after the one-year warranty expired, it stopped making ice. It’s noisy. I bought it to replace a Whirlpool that also had problems, and it turns out they’re made by the same manufacturer. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Posted .We appreciate you bringing your concern about your Refrigerator to our attention. Please find the following professional troubleshooting tips for optimal performance:
Is the refrigerator making ice?
If the Ice maker is making ice but not dumping it into the ice bin, try resetting the Ice Maker. To reset the ice maker, unplug the refrigerator for 1 minute. After resetting, wait a couple of hours and check for ice production; ice is in the bin.
Is the Ice Maker Turned On?
A common reason an ice maker does not make ice is that it was accidentally turned off. Sometimes, resetting the ice maker can resolve minor issues. Locate the reset button on your ice maker (consult your manual if unsure) and press and hold it for a few seconds. If your refrigerator doesn't have a reset button, perform a power cycle by unplugging it for one minute and plugging it back in. Refer to How to Turn the Ice Maker On for more information on using the ice maker.
If the Ice Maker is not connected to a water supply line but remains turned on, it could cause the following: a buzzing noise, the refrigerator may be too cold, food in the crisper drawers may freeze, and the freezer section may get too cold.
Was the water filter recently replaced?
If the water filter was just replaced or installed, ensure that it was installed correctly. An improperly installed water filter could reduce or stop water flow, decrease ice production, cause leaks from the filter housing, or lead to other concerns. Check to make sure the water filter is locked into place, creating a proper seal. To check the installation, remove the water filter from the housing and try to dispense some water. If water dispenses, the water filter was installed improperly; reinstall the water filter.

Was the water line installed correctly?
The refrigerator must be installed to a cold water supply for the ice maker and water dispenser to work. To connect the shutoff valve and the refrigerator, use 1/4" (6.35 mm) O.D. (outside diameter) soft copper or PEX tubing. It is recommended to leave a coil of copper or PEX tubing (service loop) to allow the refrigerator to be pulled out of the cabinet or away from the wall for service or routine cleaning.
Check to make sure there are no kinks in the water supply line. A kink can reduce water flow. Straighten the water source line to restore adequate water flow and pressure. To help reduce the chances of a pinched water line, do not push the refrigerator too far back against the wall or cabinet.

Does the water filter need to be replaced?
It is recommended that the KitchenAid water filter be replaced every 6 months, when the indicator light comes on, or as needed. Replacing your water filter regularly helps to ensure a continual supply of cleaner, fresh-tasting drinking water. Depending on your usage and water quality, it may need to be changed more frequently. A clogged or incorrectly installed water filter can reduce the water flow to the ice maker and dispenser, potentially causing low ice production and a slowed water flow. KitchenAid recommends using everydrop® water filters. Find the right replacement filter for your refrigerator, and make the simple switch for clean water year-round. https://youtu.be/LIP-Za8XnzU
Was the water filter flushed?
Flushing the system is needed every time the filter is changed or when it is first installed. Flushing your refrigerator water filter is a key step that reduces excess air, prepares the filter for use, and removes excess carbon. Air in the water system may cause dripping at the dispenser, small or hollow ice cubes, or a cloudy appearance in the water quality. The amount of water needed to flush the water filter varies depending on the specific filter. Some filters require 1, 2, or 4 gallons to be dispensed for a proper flush; refer to the water filter's instructions for specific guidelines.
No dispenser? If your refrigerator doesn't have an internal or external water dispenser, after connecting to a water source or replacing the water filter, fill and discard three full ice containers to prepare the water filter for use. This will remove some of the loose carbon.

KitchenAid
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is above and beyond what we expected. The only issue we had were the trays not securing inside the refrigerator. It was a minor issue. The feet on the bottom of the refrigerator were not extended all the way upon installation, causing a slight angle. After adjusting the feet the trays no longer pushed out.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had so much problems and confusion with delivery. I was expecting a better quality for this brand. The water filter never worked. We changed it twice in hope it will start making better ice, but no use.

AVOID this refrigerator.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This refrigerator has had more issues since we bought it in Jan 2023. After a few weeks the ice machine was leaking water inside. The refrigerator sounded like it was broken with the motor having to be replaced in the freezer. We had the machine serviced 8 times over a 6-month period. We are calling again because the same things from 9 months ago are happening again. This time the ice machine is spinning ice under the grinder and getting stuck where we cannot pull the bucket out. The filter was replaced in the unit 3 days ago and it sounds like the water line is screaming at me when I get water.
