I finally decided to get a new one and went for this model. It is a little more spacious than the model it replaces and looks good overhaul. Installation was a breeze and took about 45 minutes.

Ice dispenser is a bit too messy sometimes when it dispenses bits of crushed ice with the cubes. Has plenty of room for our refrigerated and frozen food and drinks. Stainless steel finish looks very good. It fit perfectly into the built-in opening from the old refrigerator. So far, we are very happy.

It is stylish and has some bells and whistles. It works great so far. We have nothing to complain about.

My food is more effectively organized and I am happy with the look of it too. I like the design and location of the ice maker and the access to the water filter.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this refrigerator at BestBuy after our frig (also a Kitchenaid) of 20 years finally gave out. Within weeks, the ice-maker stopped working. The ice gets stuck and then melts in the ice-maker chamber creating an ice plug that blocks any ice from coming out. The ice-maker unit is frozen to the release mechanism and it takes some real muscle to actually take the ice-marker apart to get the wall of ice out. The ice-maker has been broken more time than it has worked. This will be our 4th repair call to Kitchenaid. Because of COVID our ice maker has been broken since before March. We bought this in September of last year. The rubber stripping comes off of the butter and egg storage located in the door. The water out of the ice maker is tepid at best. Very disappointing...
