We replaced a 30 year old JenAir with this. It is a really nice cooktop. Installation was straight forward and rather easy with the included instructions. The burners heat quickly and evenly. The downdraft fan works well and is fairly quiet. The only downside is it scratches easily. We only found 3 brands with a 30 inch Downdraft and they all have the same complaint. Hard to knock a star for a common complaint among all brands.

Great wuality. I’m impressed at how fast it gets hot and how got it gets. Make sure you buy the correct ceramic top cleaners for this to prevent scratches. With correct cleaners, it’s quite ridiculously easy to clean. Even the air box is very easy to clean. Just remove the top and clean away. The downdraft air, even at medium, removes most of the steam. Impressive. Not to mention how attractive the top looks in the kitchen.

We’ve had this 5 months. It is beautiful, the downdraft works great- However...using only glass countertop cleansers and no abrasive sponges it has scratches and pock marks - the surface came off with the food splatters. Before I could report this, my husband was removing foil from a bottle of wine 2 inches above the stove, it dropped and shattered the glass. The serviceman just left and told us the damage should not have happened- it was bad- looked like a bottle was dropped from 2 feet up. He said he’s dropped wrenches and more on them without incident. Will see if the warrantee holds- kitchenaid told me no because we dropped something.

Looks great. Easy to use and keep clean. Downdraft helps a lot to get smoke out of house.

Product is good and looks very nice. It really looks elegant but the cooktop is very easy to scratch even though I was very careful.

The item works great and deserves 5 stars. Best Buy canceled my delivery appointments at the last minute many times and it took about 6 months to get this to me.

As soon as this cooktop installed and we started to use, underneath of each burner ceramic glass white bubble appeared and they didn't go away. so every time I use this cooktop, I get more bubble showing underneath of glass. I called the best buy and they are trying to exchange it for me. when my son read some other people review, we found out that other customers had the same problems. I hope we won't get the same issue with the new one that they are going to bring for us.

Works well. We are not familiar with all the heating options of the various burners, yet. Only real drawback is that it is gorgeous but the black shows EVERYTHING! We have to keep it wiped clean constantly.

I wanted to convert my cooktop to gas one initially but because if the cost to setup a gas line I started looking for electric one with downdraft. I came across this and I am happy with my decision. Installation was a bit hard as my countertop had exact measurements for this one but apart from that I am happy with my purchase.

loos good.fit tight opening. smooth finish, great downdraft, great controls was not sealed on ends ..one of 3 without plug directvwired rated higher than jenn aire ..install issues resolved

Cooktop works just fine and heats up very quickly. However, the downdraft fan is a bit loud when running at the higher speeds. Overall, it seems to be a reliable cooktop for the time I've had it.

This cooktop was well worth the money. Unfortunately, the first one they sent was defective, and we had to wait for a second one to be ordered and sent. Luckily the installer was the one that made the decision that it was defective. He could’ve easily put it in and never told me and I would never have been the wiser, he was a great installer. I wish I’d gotten his name. Luckily he came back and installed the second one.

I replaced a 25 yr old Jennaire cooktop with the KitchenAid. It only took some minor adjustments for this cooktop to be installed. I am quite pleased with the overall preformace and function of the KitchenAid. The downdraft fan was an important feature. I am extremely satisfied with this product.

We had to have this cooktop replaced 2 times. The glass kept lifting from the corner. I have read about manufacturing problems with Kitchenaid recently. Will be replacing with Jenn Air on the next round.

Product has worked great and we have had zero problems so far !!

This is a good cooktop, but it is one of only two downdraft options that are available on the market today. If other models were available, I would have chosen one without the large, shiny chrome buttons. Overall, I am happy with the end result, but I had to have the granite hole enlarged to accommodate the dimensions, which resulted in unwanted dust throughout the kitchen despite the best efforts of the installation team.

This stovetop works very well and is easy to clean.
