We chose this to replace an 18-year old GE Profile downdraft cooktop. It was a perfect fit for the original counter cutout, and also for the exhaust location. My wife does most of the cooking and is pleased with it. Nice features: flame lights almost instantly, easy to clean, good solid feel to how the metal knobs operate, and can adjust the flame all the way to lowest without it going out. Exhaust is effective and not loud.

Very good performance overall, and plenty of output. But a couple of caveats: (1) the fan has three discrete settings labeled low-medium-high. In my view they could more accurately be labeled high, too high, and way too high. (2) The lowest settings on 3 of the 4 burners are too high for simmering. The same is true of the 4th burner (with lowest BTUs), unless you put the “melt” fitting on that burner (which is easy to do). So if you want to simmer you need to move your pan to that burner, with the melt fitting in place.

Overall I like this. Its very similar to the one I replaced, except for knob placement, so I don't have to get used to much. I do wish I would have researched a bit more to see if there was one that fit where the vent goes up and down automatically.

Works well. Much better than our previous cooktop from Whirlpool. Pots and pans are stable on the grates. Love this and highly recommended

Disapointed there is no lights to indicate if a burner is on. When gas is turned low, minimal flame showing, it is hard to tell VISUALLY if the stove is on or off. An indicator light would be ideal. Especially when finished in the kitchen, the light would help to make sure the unit is completely off

An excellent downdraft gas range top. We replace the glass KitchenAid with this top and are very pleased with how it works, free install with total tech

Great cook top. Replaced my 20 year old unit that was installed when the house was built. A little pricey but very few options for down draft units of this size.

Well after waiting 3 months the stovetop finally arrived, it was easy to install (YouTube video) and wow, its powerful! Just wish it was not that expensive

This cooktop is good, easy to clean, easy to use but easily to scratch. The Best Buy/geek squad AJ did a great job, the installation was quick and professonal.

Generally like this stovetop but there are a couple of issues: Even with the fan on low it is quite strong, and tends to full the burner flames over toward it which is troublesome. The fan would be better if it had infinite settings not just 3. Plus it is quite loud, even on the lowest setting.

Have not had any problems with it. Just beautiful. Very happy. The installation of my cooktop went smoothly. The young men were professionals and knew what they were doing. I can't tell you what a happy customer I am. Will buy from Buy again.

Such an improvement over the previous GE cooktop. Usually wait for reviews to insure that the product has been thoroughly tested and that it has withstood any problems. Glad to report that after 12 months NO problems!

This gas stove top is sleek, well manufactured and cooks great. I also like the feature of the down draft.

Mult sized burners help you cook different types of food. I like the burner knobs being on the side. Grill is large and easy to remove and clean. The only drawback was that I was unable to find a stove guard to fit this KitchenAid model, so I had to make one myself out of a blank sheet.
