Had this for about 7 months now and it is still working and looking fantastic. It so nice to have 5 burners on a 30 inch stovetop compared to the 4 on most other 30 inch ones. Would definitely recommend if you want to elevate your kitchen look!

Install process wasn’t fun. Had to have the opening cut larger in the granite counter top. Made a huge mess. No issues with the product itself though. Haven’t been using it long so I can’t yet speak to its durability. Works great though. Heats up fast (unlike the Kitchenaid oven we purchased). I like that the larger burners have the option to only turn on a smaller inner area if you need more small burners or maybe you just don’t want to put a small pot on a back burner and have to reach for it.

I have had my KitchenAid - 30" Built-In Electric Cooktop -in stainless steel for almost a year now. I mostly really like it. It's much more convenient having two large burners instead of just one. The knobs are substantial and much nicer quality than the knobs on my previous Whirlpool cooktop. But you should expect that for this huge difference in price point! I am perplexed by reviewers complaining how hard it is to keep this cooktop clean. I actually find it very easy to keep clean. I wipe it down with a damp rag on most days, then every few weeks I will use the Affresh Cooktop Cleaner that was recommended for extra clean and shine. There are a few things I don't like. 1.) As other reviewers have mentioned, the knobs are super counterintuitive as far as which direction you need to turn them to get higher or lower temps, as they don't match up with each other. Very strange. 2.) It is difficult to tell if the pot is placed over the right spot, as there are no guiding lines. 3.) I really, really miss the ability to know which of the burners is hot. My old cheap cooktop had a red light by each burner so you know which one was still hot. This one has a single red light and just lets you know something is hot somewhere on the cooktop. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I am disappointed that there is no quality KitchenAid under-cabinet range hood with a recirculating option to go with this cooktop and that I will be forced to mix brands. We have to use ductless and the only one I can find that seems it won't take my overhead cabinet space has not-so-great reviews. Major bummer.

KitchenAid cooktop I went with this item over the LG cooktops because of the knobs and the way that I could make it fit into my specific counter design all my other kitchen appliances are LG but I did not like the LG cooktop that they had available at this time

Not actually the initial cooktop purchased. I waited 10 months and Best Buy suggested this one, which was now available. I am very happy. Heating elements are fabulous, with even cooking. Safety warning light perfect for hot surface notification. Cleans easily. Very very pleased.

Looks great, easy to install and use. I love the 5 cooktop spaces with the very high temperature one and the melting option on one of them.

I love this stove,easy to clean. Can use any pan.Cook fast .lots place to cook.Loved the side buttons.

I have had this cooktop for about 3 weeks (I purchased it on May 7, but after constant postponements by Best Buy it was only delivered and installed on July 6), so I can't speak to durability. However, it's a beautiful cooktop that has dramatically changed the look of my kitchen after 30 years with an electric coil unit that we put in when we built our house. It performs, so far, as advertised. The "speed" burner works well, as do the other 4. You have to pay careful attention to the knobs, since they are somewhat counter-intuitive, but they do the job. I also recommend getting Mr. Clean Clean Freak spray to clean it, since the "cooktop cleaner" I bought was twice the work and half the results. So no problems so far. If it continues to work well, I would up this to 5 stars.

Excellent stovetop! The knots are big and attractive and easy to turn. The five burners allow for multiple items to cook simultaneously.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my parents and they are pleased with the unit.

Great cooktop! Had it about a month and it’s proven more responsive than the Kitchenaid it replaced. Looks great too. Only comment is that it is hard to see the dial labels on the right input tiny kitchen.

I thought my old cooktop was OK, just bought to match all appliances. .....BUT water boils faster and skillets cook evenly now!!!
