I purchased this to replace an ancient Jenn-air that was in our new home. We had gas pipes into the kitchen for it. It looks great and the grates are nice and solid. I sort of wish we had space for a 36 in top, but given the size, we can fit a lot on this cooktop. We are particularly impressed with it having five rather than four burners. One star off because its a pain to clean (stainless steel take a lot of elbow grease to clean) and because I've seen more powerful burners in other cooktops. I think they were much more expensive so I do think this one is a great value.

It has now been a month since I installed this cooktop, replacing oddly another Kitchenaid down-draft vent glass top cooktop about 9 years old. A. I had no idea a gas cooktop could heat differently. This one is so much more even, and I can control temperature so precisely, this is a night and day difference. B. Coming from glass, you'd think that was easy to clean...not compared to this cooktop. DO NOT use chemicals to clean this cooktop...all you need is some Dawn on a kitchen rag and this thing shines up really nice, and easy. If you get a stain, just put a little drop of Dawn on the stain and let it sit for 20 mins, and voila...it will lift off. C. We thought the controls being front and seemingly close to the grates, it may be easy to accidentally touch them and burn yourself. Not an issue at all because the knobs are so big. Net of all this, because this is such a nice cooktop, we have probably increased cooking from home to 5 to 6 days a week where in the past...we hated our old cooktop/range hood and got a lot of takeout. It is not a pain to use...you'll love it too...

Great stove! The Stove is well made, easy to easy and clean. It has been about three months since we bought, and so far we have been very happy with this product.

This was a replacement for a GE CGP350SETSS which had a host of issues, including plastic knobs that broke after 30 days, etc... The KitchenAid is much better. It has steel knobs, and a simple, easy to use design. It also seems to be a bit easier to clean than the GE. So far, we are quite satisfied.

The purchase of this item was easy at the Best Buy store. However the product was damaged: (1) there was a dent underneath the top so it didn’t show on the area that is exposed;(2) one of the cast iron grates was broken (it is impossible that this occurred in shipping but had have been sent to Best Buy broken). Fortunately Best Buy had a floor model so I was able to replace the broken grate. One of the employees at the third party shipper actually hung up on my husband when he was asking about the delivery delay. Not good customer service. Otherwise I have no issues with Best Buy. I have been a long time customer.

Great choice as the controls are metal and not aluminum which has a tendency to melt or scratch! The 5 burners are ideal for cooking for family and friends

Easy to use. Looks great on my counter top. Have gotten many compliments on the countertop gas cooktop. I'm beyond happy.

This cooktop is very nice and replaces a KichenAid we had installed in our kitchen 25 years ago. It is easier to clean and I appreciate the sealed top. The center flame is very strong and with 5 burners now, we can't go wrong.

This review is so biased!!! First of all we are huge kitchen Aid fans. Matter of fact this is all we buy... ever !!! This cooktop is not only sturdy but so easy to cook on... it has the center simmer which I can’t stop using.. the grates are so rich in color and very well made... it has 3 sections which make for easy clean up and great when it’s time to sauté foods... Again get this I can’t brag enough on Kitchen Aid products . This one won’t disappoint. I’ve tried other lower end brands in the past and once you purchase quality nothing else will surfice. The product justifies the price and it is definitely worth it!

Works great, looks great, and easy to use. The middle burner is awesome for boiling water or cooking something fast.

Absilutely the best stove for propane gas. Went through 3 Samsung chef's collection stoves that were crap and expensive. This one however was less expensive and the knobs do not over heat while in use. Great for a 30" stove. I ise propane so as most would know, the gas burns hotter. Still no issues with knobs and I just love to cook again.! The pkus to this stove is the cleaning. I foil wrap my stove and voila! Peel foil and do a minimum wipe down and stove looks like new even after more than half a year in use.

The assortment of burner sizes on this unit are perfect. It has performed incredibly well over the past fifteen months and we would very highly recommend this excellent cooktop.

I recently had my old cook top go bad and needed a new one. The previous one came with the home when I bought it. I always hated it but it worked. A friend of mine had a really nice kitchen aid so I decided to check them out. I'm very impressed with the looks and functionality. The knobs are in a much better location than my old one and the 5th burner is the best for large soup pots. I absolutely love it and my wife is ecstatic with it. Great purchase.

We are very happy with our KitchenAid gas cooktop. Efficient and easy to work with. This gas cooktop replaced our old electric cooktop that did not perform nearly as well. And the electric cooktop eventually cracked which won't happen with this KitchenAid stainless steel gas cooktop. Most importantly the gas cooktop makes our meals much tastier. Now my family thinks I have become some kind of expert cook. :)

Excellent counter top stove. The 5 burners are great and it really hits up the food quickly.

I recently updated my kitchen and replaced 20 year old cooktop with this Kitchenaid and couldn’t be happier with my decision. It’s only a 30” unit but has 5 nice sized burners to use where previously only had 4.
