This purchase was a replacement for the same toaster. It is used in a high volume setting (about 20 drops per side each day) and the previous toasted lasted for 3 years. This browns evenly and consistently. Easy to clean, and I highly recommend it

I love the value you get compared to the two slice toaster for the same brand at $49 and their other four slice toaster for $89 with the 2 slices located next to the other two slices. This one is the 4 slices side by side for $69.

Toasts well and is nice to have an audible alert when the roasting process is about to be completed. A little bulkier than I thought it would be but otherwise seems to work well.

Personally I think R2 was behind the Rebel Alliance's plans all along but that's a time for a different toaster. Matches the wife's choice of red in the kitchen like a boss, have had good luck with KitchenAid and this one was well rated and cheaper than another option. It toasts well, and is quick (it is new so I expect that). The true test is how long it lasts and if it maintains its performance . At this point the excellent is purely based on looks and KitchenAids choice of name for the color.

Toaster works as described. great with beagles but one side toasts a bit darker than other side, even when dialed to same temp number

Toaster is all stainless with a nice design and 4 slots to boot! Bagel toasting option is nice.

From what I read online, I thought I'd give the benefit of the doubt since we already own some nice KitchenAid products. I was disappointed in this toaster since it toasted unevenly -- dark on one side light on the other and not when the bagel setting was used. It would also cook lines into the toast -- again, not evenly. Besides that, it felt cheap and "rattly". When I pushed the lever down to start toasting, it was really springy at the bottom and I'd expect it to catch but found myself pushing down several times trying to get it to stay down without pushing so hard I'd break it. I believe for the price, the quality of this toaster is totally unacceptable -- even if it does look nice.

I like the clean look of this. Everything works pretty good. One of the levers is a little harder to push down and feels like it could possibly break someday. The toasts are consistent even between different kinds of breads, bagels, or waffles while using the same setting.

Initially, I was not impressed as the toaster wasn't toasting things as well as my cheap Black & Decker I had did. I was almost ready to return it until it finally started toasting things properly. It's almost as if it needed several uses for it to get "warmed up." It's working great now which is why I gave it 5 stars. The 4 slice option is a must have for families!

I was looking for a 4 slice toaster, and after looking through many different selections i ended up going with this one. Its easy to use and clean, also the slots are wide enough to fit up to bagel sized slices, so as for me, I would say this gets the job done. I would recommend to someone who is looking for something nice and simple!

When I decided to redo my kitchen in red, wasn't sure would be able to find appliances to match. Couldn't be happier with the color. Great deal, too.
