Good guy, fast toaster

Not anything crazy, but I am a "light tan" toaster, so I would have tan on one side, and hot, just starting to get stiff white bread on the other side. The darker toasters in the house were having a difficult time getting dark enough without a little burn, but I don't know that it wasn't them actually trying something different rather than repeating actions expecting different results
