Compared with the wine cellar we had, which stopped cooling, the KitchenAid is much nicer. We particularly like the slide-out shelves which work on rollers. In the previous wine cellar the wood shelves simply rode on wood, and were not at all smooth. The KitchenAid shelves work smoothly and do not need to be pulled out or closed from the center of the shelf. Also, wine bottles need not be distributed or balanced across a shelf for the shelf to work smoothly. The only complaint is that I would prefer a wider range of temperatures especially for the top shelves of the dual-zone system. The KitchenAid is worth the higher price.

Tremendous quality wine refrigerator. Great lighting and shelf system provides for very good number of bottles. Excellent build in another fine KichenAid product.

Love the KitchenAid wine refrigerator...and a good thing since we waited almost 3 months for it... The delivery guys however were VERY rude to my wife...that was sort of a buzz kill after waiting for so long...

The wine cellar fits perfectly under the counter and lines up with the cabilets. The wine stays at a steady temperature and the unit itseld has many features.

First off, the fridge looks great. I had it free-standing instead of under a counter and it looked quite nice.
The problem with the fridge lies in the design of the drawers. The bottom drawer is designed for Pinot bottles and fits 6 exactly as it should. All 5 other drawers are incapable of fitting the 8 bottles top-to-tail that they should. Standard 750mL Bordeaux bottles are incapable of fitting (see picture). This wouldn't be a problem if the drawers were an inch or two deeper, but they aren't and there's no way anyone could get close to 46 bottles into this fridge. I was able to fit a maximum of 27 bottles (including 3 Champagne and 1 Chardonnay non-standard bottle). Absolute joke.
I have already requested a return. Save your money and look for another wine fridge with deeper drawers that fits Bordeaux bottles top-to-tail - as this one absolutely should have for $2,300+.
In addition, the seal around the door wasn't exactly a great fit.

Top zone is limited to assorted setting - so you can not use it for red wine.
Rack spacing is poor. when will wine fridge manufacturers realize not every bottle is a tall skinny cab bottle, thinker glass, or rhone style bottles don't fit well and severly limits storage.
Overall the exterior design and manufacturing quality is good, top zone should be able to accomodate red wine temps and racks need to be better spaced /designed to accomodatee a variety of bottle types.

Gorgeous wine fridge. Looks really good with our cabinets. It's a little pricey imo, but I'd still recommend if aesthetics are important.

Love this wine cellar refrigerator. Chilled down quickly and has great LED lights. My neighbor is jealous of the wood feature. Only disappointment is the door is not reversible.

Great overall. The only this is that I wish they gave larger racks on the top half for champagne bottles so they can be with the white wine. Overall looks great.

Looks nice. Our previous Kitchenaid wine chiller lasted over 20yrs n held 46 bottles. This new chiller holds the same amount of bottles and the shelves slide out. However it is limited to only 5 bottles of champagne on the bottom shelf. Very disappointing.
