The stove is so beautiful, but I cook the first day and dark spots show , very hard to take off , may be was for the little butter I use to make the pancakes.

We are very disappointed, this stove should be awesome. The problem is any time you remove the grates, the stove scratches. Looks really bad. We love KitchenAid products and have all matching in our kitchen. For some reason, this stove looks bad. Do your self a favor and pick a different model.

We purchased this stove a little more than two years ago. Overall, we do like it quite alot, however, some complaints are: The knobs are NOT steel and the WILL end up flaking in due time. My expectation would be, especially at this price point, that knobs would be much more durable. Customer service is subpar at kitchenaid. I called three times for assistance with the stove, the peeling knobs, and they HAVE to have the serial number. Good luck finding it and getting support from customer service. Here is the terrible link they send.https://producthelp.kitchenaid.com/Cooking/Wall_Ovens_and_Ranges/Product_Info/Oven_Product_Assistance/Model_and_Serial_Plate_Location. If you have a problem, the serial number is located on the top left poetion of the stove, on the back. You do not need to pull it out, they are on three plates tjat can be pulled up. I have a picture below Lastly, our top over for baking stopped working. Again, i would expect a stove at this price point to be functional longer than ober two years. I like that you can have the over unit operating at two different temperature, as well as convection option on the bottom

Best stove for cooking Christmas dinner. Only thing bad about it is the top of stove is stainless steel so when you drop it’s on your stainless steel which is hard to clean. I love my stove and I’m a pridessionsl cook. Top oven heats in less than 3 mins to 475 degrees. Makes morning breakfast biscuits and gravy simply fast and efficiently! Bottom oven gears up relatively quick too. Love the confection oven with simple convert the s a no guessing game. Simply plug your regular oven directions into to stove and it converts to. Once ruin with an automatic shut off!

Pros: 1. Having two ovens is surprisingly convenient! 2. The top oven is smaller but has a broiler and heats up really quickly 3. The bottom oven has convection 4. The stove has 3 timers: One cooking time timer for each oven and one kitchen timer 5. Entering time and temperature is easy with the numeric keypad (on our old stove we had to hold "up" and 'down" buttons. 6. The cast iron grate covers the entire surface so it's easy to move pans around. The center burner is convenient to keep things warm. 7. Two large burners get water boiling in no time. 8. A telescoping rack makes it easy to smoothly get something heavy in or out of the bottom oven. Nice if you don't want to spill things! 9. The bottom of both ovens is removable, so it's easy to clean (small) spills. Cons: 1. The cooktop is difficult to clean. If you're accustomed to wiping the top of your stove off with a wet cloth every day and leave it at that, this is not for you. You have to really scrub to get some kinds of food off, and you always need to wipe off the streaks of a wet cloth with a dry cloth. 2. When you leave any of the burners on high for more than a few minutes, the cast iron starts discoloring (gets brown). To remove that, you need something like Barkeepers Friend (scouring cleaner). And to really get it clean including the areas around and underneath the burners, you need to use tools to take the burners off the stove top with a Torx screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver. 3. The knobs on the front are metal with plastic and look cheap. 4. Whenever you want to take the grate off the top (e.g. for cleaning), you have to twist it kind of weird because in the front, the right side is on top, whereas on the back, the left side is on top. And whenever the grate even touches the stainless steel, it scratches it. I almost wish I had left the plastic shipping foil on there. This is the main reason why I don't recommend buying this. 5. The griddle seems like a nice idea but it's too small and when you use it with the center burner, the front and back don't get warm enough for doing stuff like pancakes or French toast. And if you put it on the left or right burners, you have to deal with the fact that the front burners are bigger and get hotter so it's not easy to make the entire griddle equally hot. 6. Because the front burners are bigger, any pan that you want to put on top of them sits relatively far back on the stove, Sometimes that doesn't leave enough space for pans on the back burners, so you have to put the pans where they're not centered above a burner. 7. There are a number of weird quirks in the onboard programming. For example: The cooking time timers beep 5 times when they expire, but the kitchen timer beeps only once, which is easy to miss. Also, when you set a cooking time, it turns the oven off when the timer expires. Very inconvenient if you just wanted to set a timer to turn you food around or give it a stir. Furthermore, you have to do everything in the exact right order or it will give you three beeps and give you dumb looks. Example: if you want to switch temperature on one of the ovens and it's already on, you can't simply tap Bake and then the temperature; you have to turn the oven off first, then tap Bake, then tap the temperature.

    Amazing Stove

My wife wanted a stove that didn’t take forever to preheat and was able to cook two things at once. This was the answer. This stove preheats so fast and saves us so much time with that and having two ovens. The other reason we chose this stove over other double oven convection stoves is because of the stainless steel top. Our last gas stove had a black top and showed everything and you had to wipe it down every day if you wanted it to look clean. With the stainless steel, you don’t have to do that. It doesn’t show the dust like the black does. I read some reviews before purchasing this about people saying how easily the top scratched when cleaning it and this upset them. Well I destroyed the top of our stove the first time cooking on it splattering olive oil everywhere while searing some meat. Olive oil is not easy to clean up as some might know and even though it took a lot of cleaning, it never once scratched anywhere. I’m not sure if these other people are using wire brushes or extremely abrasive cleaners and don’t know what the heck they are doing because this does not scratch easily unless you are using something on it you shouldn’t use on any surface you don’t want to scratch. Common sense isn’t always that common though.

First test Thanksgiving dinner . I was able to hold 20lb Turkey 10 lb Turkey breast 2 sides in casserole dishes in bottom oven. Top oven rolls a different temp. Everything cooked perfectly. Oven and timer settings were easy to use. Cooked potatoes gravy and meatballs and pasta on stove burners are a little different then my other stove settings will take some getting use to but nothing burned. The only thing I don't like is the color black on the sides of the oven assumed they were stainless steel.may reverse wear my stove and refrigerator are to hide the color.

The good: 1. Having two ovens that operate at two different temperatures is amazing, especially if you cook for many people at once. You can bake something in the bottom oven while frying something on the stove, and use the top oven to keep things warm, all at the same time. I would give it ten stars for this. 2. The self cleaning feature works. 3. It's a standard size, not crazy big. The bad: 1. Three of the five ignitors went out in the first year. They were replaced under warranty, and one of those is iffy; it takes a couple of clicks to light that one burner. That's a ding of one star on quality. 2. The door fronts can collect spills. We had a liquid bubble over before it could be turned off, and the liquid leaked into the space between the inner and outer glass on the top oven door. You can unscrew it all and clean it, but it was a hassle. 3. We live in an older neighborhood that is prone to losing electricity several times a year. One of the huge benefits to having a gas stove/oven is that it works even when the electricity is out, so you can still cook and stay warm. Except for this unit. It's apparently some type of safety feature that you can't the stove and stay alive in the cold.

The time for a new range meant much debate on whether to go truly high end (SubZero. Wolf, etc) or look for a suitable mid-range alternative. That we found with this Kitchen Aid double oven. The look and feel matches ovens at twice the price and thus far the quality does too. A great value for the money and the convenience of the double oven makes us look forward to the next large family gathering.

Love my Kitchenaid oven! The quality is great. It is durable. The double oven and 5 burners. It heats very fast and very very hot. I was not used to how quick it heats and how hot it gets but I love it. It was pricey but worth it! Kitchenaid is a trusted brand in my book now.

I wanted convection, two ovens, sealed gas burners, range of btu's and stainless. Not many options out there that aren't professional level or at least very expensive. This range is a great in between price. Love having two ovens. Top one is great for heating up things, roasting vegetables or broiling - without using a full size oven. The burners are far enough apart to accommodate large pots on both front burners (also controls are flat on front leaving more room for pots). We find we have excellent control of the flame/heat of burners. We owned a previous version of KitchenAid's gas convection range, but one of the high btu burners was in the back making it impossible to use with a large pot and controls were at the front but facing up taking up range top space. Also love the smooth gliding oven racks. This range is a great improvement.

The Range has everything we were looking for convection oven, stainless steel, enough useable cooking space and has a small oven to bake pizzas or heat smaller dishes . However down side is that burners create a yellow burn mark on the stainless steel cover. We have not been able to figure out how to clean the burn/yellow best way to describe it . when you heat up a shiny metal you can see the different color marks.
