LOVE
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only have had this for a couple of weeks and I love it. The burners are very reactive. If you have something boiling and want it to not boil so hard and you turn it down, it goes down just as fast as gas. The huge oven will hold 3 cookie sheets and that is one batch of chocolate chip cookies. Your top sheet will be done first, but once one is done then rotate and the cooking time is fast. Somebody said it is slow to heat up the oven, I don't notice that because as a seasoned cook I always start the oven before I even start to make an item, plus I did not notice it any slower than my previous oven. I have made cookies, cake, beef roast, pizza and bread. I have had an awesome outcome on everything. I do love a true convection oven and if you are use to it you know how much time it can save you. Have not had to clean it yet so I don't know about that. I usually don't have spills, but I have cleaned the inside of the door/window and no big deal.

Features plentiful, not quality I expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We paid more because it was kitchenaid and wanted something to last as long as our last range. Out the box, the stainless steel cover was Installed crooked over the oven door. We were going to return but decided too much of a headache... Best Buy made it worth keeping. We opted for the larger oven cavity and expectedly the storage was less. Storage door and tracks it sits on are very flimsy, not as sturdy as our old GE. Operation wise, it has plenty of features. Read up on features. Seems you can buy same oven by Whirlpool for much less. Name only difference. Hey, it’s a new oven...

Love my Kitchen-aid appliances!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love Kitchen-aid appliances. this is the second stove I’ve purchased after living with a GE slide in that I was not happy with. The GE.’s aluminum frame around the controls scratched very easily when using a nylon scrubby pad to clean it so it was not stainless steel and the controls were on the top on both sides of a keypad, so it was very difficult for me to lift heavy pots over the controls onto the top of the stove. Also, if you brushed against the keypad, it would always go off. So I went back to a freestanding KitchenAid range with the controls at the back, which is lovely and beautiful, and I’m so glad I went back to this stove. I also have a KitchenAid dishwasher, which is the best dishwasher I’ve ever owned and the quietest , sometimes I have to get right up next to it to hear that it’s running, but it works so well I love love love it.

Kitchen Aid electric range
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven’t had an electric stove for over 20 years. I’m really enjoying this range so far. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the silicon caulking between glass top and metal isn’t sealed evenly all the way around. So salt and food gets into the little crease. Tried to have it replaced but the new ranges they brought out were similar or worse. Otherwise it cooks evenly and baking has been great too!

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality of the stainless steel was disappointing. The drawer below is shallow and the edges are so sharp you must be careful not to cut yourself. The self cleaning function is fine for the bottom of oven but does nothing for the sides or other baked on spills. The range surface is difficult to keep clean, It needs to be wiped down and scraped after every single use. The marks on the surface that define the burners look like crumbs on the range top. The oven takes FOREVER to preheat 20-25 minutes. The directions say to remove the baking racks to preheat quicker, not an easy solution. Less than thrilled with the convection oven option, I still get uneven baking with cookies. those in back brown first. I was told KitchenAid was one of the best, can't imagine what other brands are like. I would suggest to keep looking if this is the brand you are considering, unfortunately, there isn't much out there in this size and style. If you choose, manage your expectations.

Easy oven
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Straight forward easy to use control panel. Options for normal bake , roast or broil are simple to navigate. Oven top takes some trial and error to understand temps. Like all flat stove tops regular cleaning is necessary for over spills.

Disappointed - poor manufacturing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have now exchanged this item twice due to manufacturing defects with the silicone seal around the glass cooktop and silicone being smeared all over the cooktop and stainless steel surround. We’ve never been able to use this. So far, extremely disappointed with this kitchen aid range. For the cost, it should come in perfect condition, not slopped together. And driving 3 hours to pick it up/return it 3 times is begin frustrating. If it didn’t match all our other appliances, I would go with a different brand at this point.

FIRE HAZARD ⚠️
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.((We purchased an open box floor Model)) While appeasing to the eye, the KitchenAid range is a potential death trap! We received a code F6E1 Oven over temperature when heating. Geek squad replaced the cooling fan and thermostat but it continued to overheat. Some temps were as high as 500 when oven set to 300. The lower heating element was found to be faulted and will need to be returned to KitchenAid. While potentially only being a one off unit, there is still the potential that there could be a greater risk. 0/10 Do Not Buy

Warped within a week.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within the first week, the top seal of the over door is warped and let’s put a huge portion of the heat. This is making it so nothing cooks as well obviously.

Easy to install and looks great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very nice looking range with a large glass front. KitchenAid seems to have a better look for 2024 than LG or GE. The range was easy to install and the installation team was able to do this easily. It replaced an old LG that just expired. Using the stove feature is very simply, although it take a little practice to get the feel of the new dials for the stove which simply say H M and L with no numbers. I like the easy of the dial and the range is very responsive to the up and down controlling knobs. The oven does have a burn off for the new heat elements, but after one or two uses that was not a problem, Just know that the first time you use it you will need to ventilate the kitchen. This is true for all knew electric ovens in my experience. The true test of any range is how long the electronics last, so come back to me in a few years and I will let you know if it lasts longer than LG and GE which are lower priced models for a reason.

Great Stove
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We ordered this stove in November and it took a month to get it delivered. Best Buy needs to up their game on communication. I had a ton of trouble just getting through to talk to someone. But we love the stove itself. Looks awesome, easy to understand and use. We have cooked with it a dozen times or so since getting it. Be prepared if you haven't used a smooth glass top stove before. Cleaning can be a chore, but love it.

But Something Else!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After returning two of these due to damage, the third was ok, however where chopping anything like hamburger in a pan, it squeaks horribly. The drawer in the bottom is very small and it cooks slowly. I should have went with a different brand after the KitchenAid dishwasher we had, in less than a yr, had a rotten heater element that leaked and soaked our basement ceiling. The repairman stated there were so many of these going bad, KitchenAid sent them a bunch. Contacted KitchenAid, they just say call for repair. It was installed by deliver person and was checked for being level.
