We replaced our unreliable LG with this beautiful KitchenAid. Works very nice, controls are sleek, touch screen and the glass top is super easy to clean. The oven has plenty of space.

The first one blew up. Literally. Glass throughout the oven and on the floor. Using the replacement, I burned my hand in the storage drawer that has "no cooking functionality." But it got hot enough to burn. Returning that one and going with a different brand.

Came dented on two sides. Drawer was crooked. Since I had waited so long and was told a replacement might take weeks or months I had my handyman fix. Will never purchase an appliance from BB again.

I have to give it four stars because of the design. I’m sure in some kitchens. The controls on the top of the stove would be OK but in our case, my wife was afraid that she would sit a hot pan on them and possibly damage them. I cannot complain though about the quality of the stove. I would recommend the stove if someone was OK with the controls being on the top next to the eyes. Also, I never actually used the stove because I had planned on exchanging it.

I’m so impressed with my new KitchenAid slide-in range! It looks stunning in stainless steel and instantly elevates my kitchen. The convection oven bakes evenly and faster — everything from cookies to roasts comes out perfectly golden. The cooktop heats up quickly, cleanup is a breeze, and I love the spacious 6.4 cu. ft. oven capacity. It’s modern, efficient, and built to last — truly professional quality made for everyday home chefs.

AquaLift DOES NOT effectively CLEAN the oven

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I’ve owned this KitchenAid appliance for 10 months. The stovetop works well. Pro tip: clean any glass stovetop with Cerama Bryte (or similar) BEFORE you cook on it and it will forever be easier to clean (and look good) down the road. Despite my deep unhappiness with the oven’s “self clean” mode, my stovetop looks fantastic and works as intended. The pic below is after I ran the “AquaLift” cycle. I followed directions and wiped. The pic is the result. Only the bottom back corner came up. To be honest, I’m not sure how the bottom got like that but I’ve not had a convection oven before and maybe the fan blew grease (it formed over time and is like black glass)? You can see the sides weren’t that bad. Anyway, I ran the cycle again and no better luck. The sides and oven door were UNAFFECTED by the AquaLift cycle and subsequent wipe down. I then used a plastic scraper along with baking soda and vinegar. That didn’t work well either. Finally, in desperation, I used heavy duty Easy Off, which the owner’s manual clearly says not to use chemical cleaners (but not why). Now I have stained/removed the protective porcelain coating inside the oven, but it’s cleaner (about a third of the bottom spot is still there)! I suspect it’ll likely be even harder to clean next time. In all, I spent six hours cleaning. I didn’t pay this kind of money to clean like it was 1950, only to have it look blotchy and dull inside and still have grease/whatever stuck to the bottom. Hopefully it’s just cosmetic and won’t affect performance. Time will tell. I think the reason this issue is not mentioned in the reviews is that people review it before using the self-clean feature. Do a search regarding AquaLift and see that I am far from alone in this experience. It really does not work as advertised and the oven’s coating is not very sturdy, meaning you can’t even use chemicals to clean it, which to be honest, I prefer not to do anyway. However, I would rather have a manual clean oven that I can use Easy-Off on and be done (and have it look great). Other self clean ovens I’ve had use heat to blast gunk to ash for me to wipe out—AquaLift doesn’t come close to those results. I am shocked ovens with the AquaLift feature are still being sold as “self-cleaning.” I wish I had read a review like this and did the research. I am still shocked. But if you understand that hard manual cleaning is still very necessary with this oven and that it won’t ever look like you’re expecting, then it’s otherwise a good product.

This range was the last item I needed to complete my KitchenAid kitchen. It boils water so fast, and the even heat feature is amazing. I couldn't be happier with it. The convection feature works like a champ, and is by far the nicest range I've ever owned. There really isn't anything I don't like about it except for one thing- It requires a cleaning after every use. I'm sure that every glass top range is like that so I'm not too hung up about it. I had to re-learn how to cook on it, as the temps on the burners are really hot. I never really turn it past medium low unless I'm boiling something. They heat really fast! Whenever I have company over, I get so many compliments on my kitchen, especially the range. You will not be disappointed, just be ready and willing to clean it after each use. I hope this review helps! I have the range, dishwasher, over the range microwave, and french door refrigerator, and they are all top notch quality.

If thinking about the black stainless don’t do it

Really love the look of the black stainless but was told by my Best Buy salesmen that the KitchenAid product was better. It’s not! It’s still just a coating and scratches like a scratch off ticket. Very disappointed since I purchased both the dishwasher and range. Also my glass top has very fine scratches already and I had a cheaper Whirlpool range for years and never had a scratch on the glass top.

Love it. Easy to figure it out, easy to use. The only downside is the top plate with the oven controls. It can easily be scratched. Oh, and if you like symmetrical, the positioning of the burners will drive you crazy. Everything else…from the handles, the way everything works is typical KitchenAid!

Overall I am pleased with this oven. I love the large window and the baking options. The baking temperature is ideal. The electronic panel is sensitive and will come on if accidentally touched. The stove top works well however I am still figuring out the 3 option burner, it’s difficult to have a large pot on the simmer setting as it gets too hot. The small dots on the cooktop that designate the burner sizes often look like food debris and I mistakenly try to wipe them off. The stainless control panel is easily scratched if you placed pans on it. Overall I am enjoying this purchase and would recommend.
