    Good stove, but needs good induction cookware.

    I was initially very disappointed by the cooktop on this. I had a gas cooktop in my old house, and when I moved here, there was an old electric stove with the coil burners. Some of the pans are labeled for use with induction, or the advice of "if you can stick a magnet to the bottom, it works on induction..." take all that with a grain of salt. On this cooktop, my original pans did not heat evenly, and did not heat well (was not able to get a gallon of water to a rolling boil even after 20 minutes). Switched to high quality, multi-layer stainless cookware, and the difference is night and day. It takes a little under 8 minutes to get a gallon of water from 72 deg to a rolling boil with the pot I have now, so I can't emphasize enough that the cookware can make or break your induction experience. It's a joy to use, burners change power instantly, and it's efficient because it heats the cookware directly. I don't have much experience with the oven, but so far, it heats pretty evenly, and the air frier basket works well.

    I like that the oven bakes evenly, two lights in the oven, stove gets hot immediately. I don’t like that it sticks out so much from the cabinets.

    Good stove, the induction functionality works well. Baking works well, have not had as much success with the air-fryer functionality though.

    This Kitchen Aid range is wonderful! The oven heats up to perfect temperature settings. The stove top has a safety feature on it where the burner will not come on unless there is a pan or skillet on the burner. Wow, I love it and recommend!

    My condominium came with a Kitchen Aid electric range. I’ve been thinking of replacing with an Induction range and when I received notice from BB of a sale, I bit the bullet-one of my best decisions-and my daughter is happy with the KA electric range I gifted to her-win, win!

    It’s perfect! The oven is soon on,I checked it with a prove. Temp is very stable. And it is also very quiet! The induction stove is also great! Heats up water to boil in seconds! There is a learning curve though when transitioning from regular electric to diving nduction

    delivery and over lower draw was unlevel on left side. gap between oven lower door and upper draw on left side was very noticeable. I told delivery i did not want to accept but they said i had to call the store. I. have warranty starting a swap out for replacement stove. I think i should have been able to refuse the stove. Warranty came out and said it was a manufacture defect. no way to adjust draw level.

    It works!!!!! I had to exchange all my appliances to KitchenAide. All m y GE Cafe appliances were defective. The fact that I have a working stove is huge!!!!!!!!!

    Prospective buyers should be aware: this range has 27-28" depth, deeper than standard; countertop must be cut deeper! It also has a 4 prong cord plug requiring a 4 prong receptacle ( electrician needed), and the cord comes with the range; no refund rec'd from Best Buy. There was also no installation by delivery people (altho it was paid for). Finally working.

    This review is for my overall experience - I never actually received the product. I purchased this item on July 9, choosing to do so from Best Buy because they showed it as available, whereas it was on back order elsewhere. They charged my credit card, then a day later informed me that it was indeed back ordered and earliest delivery was mid-August. Okay, I accepted that with a sigh. I paid for installation with a third-party vendor through Best Buy because I have an existing gas range that needed to be removed. But on the day of delivery they sent a team that wasn’t qualified to touch gas. They apologized, got us rescheduled for 8 days later with the “correct” team. But on that 2nd delivery date, the same team came. More profuse apologies - “we’ll escalate this to management to get it straightened out”. After more than an hour being bounced around on the phone, I was informed by someone in their “Home Services” office (who was certainly not a fluent English speaker) that Best Buy does not handle uninstalling gas ranges, nor do they contract with anyone who does. I was told that was on me to arrange, and the customer service teams who said otherwise were wrong to have offered that service. I asked to cancel the order and have my payment refunded - but that required yet another, 30 minute, phone call. The moral of the story: Don’t trust Best Buy when it comes to home appliances. They’re either liars or idiots.
