Love the product but hate the cooktop

I am so severely disappointed in my range. We spent a lot of money to get a top of the line range and the cooktop scratches so easily. I have followed the directions to a T being so careful and cleaning it regularly. I stopped using my cast iron pans to avoid scratches and worked hard to remove all residue off the bottom of the pans I do use. Within 2 weeks of purchase, I started seeing scratches. And now after a year of using this, it has so many little scratches and blemishes. I had an old GE that never scratched and was treated roughly. This range was my pride and joy and now its embarrassing to see it ruined.

Have had this model for several months now. We love it. The duel oven is great! Top for smaller dishes and it comes to temperature very quickly. The range options are a little wonky, but after some trial and error we've learned how it works. Only wish the over had two lights, one for top and one for bottom.

Very pleased with this purchase. Small upper range is perfect for cooking pizza, appetizers, cookies, or anything in small quantities. Quick to preheat, and it saves energy since your not heating the entire oven for small amounts of food. The lower oven is plenty big, and it is a convection oven! Think oven-sized "air fryer". Shortens cooking time and will make food crispy if desired.

I purchased this stove to replace my 15 year old Maytag double oven. This stove is definitely heavier than my old stove. Love the round handles on the ovens. Bakes well. Cooktop works great although I preferred the glass on my old stove better (it was a marbled grey which didn’t show the smudges). Glad that the timer and temperature are set by a number pad instead of the up/down buttons.

Upper oven is small and bakes well. I think it runs a little cooler then my old oven but the small space maybe the reason. Highly recommend giving appropriate time to warn before use. Lower oven seems dead on for temperature. Also note, range shuts off gas so even burners will not work in a power outage. It is a safety feature. Make sure have generator power source if you plan to use in this situation.

The product that I purchased is better than I thought it was going to be, my family has been extremely happy with it. The oven is very sophisticated and capable of baking, cooking anything and everything. The double oven is a game changer.

I replaced my conventional oven with this Kitchen Aid Double oven just before Thanksgiving. We didn't bake anything major until Xmas. We made a prime rib and it turned out perfect. The convection is just something that you need to practice with to get used to it. With this oven you can choose what kind of baking you want to do. Convection or no convection. I love this oven.

Great oven. The ability to make multiple things at the same time is great. Smaller oven preheats in just a few minutes, makes the overall baking experience much nicer.

The double over works great. The top stove is literally separated from the bottom, This allows the top oven to heat up to the exact temp and stay at a constant temp. A lot of double ovens have a metal sheet that you insert to separate the top oven from the bottom and the top oven has a hard time staying a constant temp.

This is my second KitchenAid stove with the double oven. I use the smaller oven almost exclusively. Because it’s small, it heats up fast and it’s easy to keep clean. The bigger oven makes multiple batches of cookies or a big dinner or if you want to proof bread dough or use the convection option. The cooktop offers a super-fast burner that makes boiling water a breeze. Great choice! No complaints.

The oven and stovetop are terrific. Great upgrade over our GE. Boils water quickly and ovens preheat at a good rate and temperature very consistent. Only drawback is that the timer only beeps once. Then once each minute after. Really don’t hear it. Options only change volume, not number of beeps. We purchased a digital timer and use that.

My wife loves loves loves her new range. It's not only a great addition to our working kitchen remodel but it's a gorgeous top of the line range. We didn't know we were missing double ovens until we had them and the cook top is excellent with it's various features like Ultra, warming and multi-sized heating options. Can't wait to purchase another KitchenAid appliance for our kitchen!

I have mixed reviews on this. I love the double oven its very handy, the convection oven works great. The burners are weird. The right side has a good burner that really can get the water boiling quickly. The left side burner has 3 settings. Small, Med and Large which in theory would be awesome but in practice means that its either on high or not at all. The low settings don't seem to work great on the left burner. Very hard to control the temp. Three sizes is overkill and under performing. And... the same burner had a knob break in the first year and I barely used it.

Originally went with the single oven but regretted and had to buy the double oven unit as it’s very useful when making multiple meals with different temperatures. The cooktop is great as well and the delivery was excellent!
