||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This appliance is amazing!!! The induction top boils water so quickly!!! The convention oven cooks food perfectly and it’s beautiful!!! It looks expensive and feels expensive and people are so impressed when they see all the features!!

Poor quality stainless and design
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Forced to purchase this model, due to the shortage of appliances during Covid. My range went out just days before Thanksgiving and this KitchenAid model (KSIB900ESS2) was the only available induction range withing hundreds of miles or they wouldn't ship it. The stainless steel finish is thin and cheap, shows every fingerprint, the cook top scratched on the 1st use, there is no overlap for the counters leaving gaps between range and counter. KitchenAid offers a $100+ edge kit, which has less than stellar reviews and makes the range look even cheaper. All in all, not pleased with this range. The cook top has the white dots on it to assist with placing pots (for dummies) that look like crumbs on it or food particles that need to be cleaned. The touch screen in the cook top for the burners is an awful idea. Obviously, someone designed, but didn't use this range or they would have dropped the idea of manufacturing it. Let me say that had this not been the only available induction range @$3059.00, I would not have purchased it. Poor decision on my part, should have dined out for Thanksgiving and saved my money!! I probably won't be keeping this range once the supply is back to normal.

Exterior gets WAY HOT! And we're on the second one
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First one arrived six days ago with a very small dent on the front panel. Would have kept it but the top and front stainless sections, right above the door get EXTREMELY hot when the oven is on. Much, much hotter than the 1979 Frigidaire it replaced ever did. Dangerously hot. Had it replaced today since we're within the 14 day exchange period and the new one gets as hot if not hotter. What's the deal? For a $3K range I'd expect the insulating technology has approved in 40+ years. Apparently not? Yes, it looks very slick. Yes, the induction cooktop is oven. Yes, the separate baking drawer is great. But if one of the points of an induction range is a safer cooktop, why doesn't that translate to the rest of the unit?! Are these all going to be recalled? We'll probably keep and live with it but pretty disappointing to have a basic safety feature like this so grossly overlooked. BestBuy/GeekSquad/KitchenAid if you are reading this and have a solution I'm all ears.

Wow. Professional Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit is amazing. It replaced a 13 year old unit but we went higher end and it is an amazing difference.

Beautiful, but not worth the cost.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product required two service calls (and would need more) before it was a month old, not worth the hassle or the initial cost. The oven control panel threw an error about 20 days in and was replaced, followed immediately by issues with the cooktop panel. It would start up just brushing against the stove, but you could not get it to shut off without setting a cook timer or flipping the breaker. Also, the control panel lock would not engage so it was nearly impossible to not engage something when cleaning the top. When I googled for help with not being able to shut it off I found information from 2008 re kitchenaid oven not shutting off and how to trick it with the cook timer. It has been 14 years and they haven't managed to fix that problem yet? I was a little miffed that I didn't see that mentioned in the reviews, so am adding that for the next person reading them. To be fair the convection was great and made perfect pizza, and the cooktop was speedy and nice. I just cannot justify keeping a product that is so problematic so soon.

Loving this range.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a very long wait due to Covid19, we finally got our range delivered and installed. This baby has lots of bells and whistles on it so I did take about an hour to read the owner's manual cover to cover. We love the instant heat and/or reduction of heat from the burners. Oven bakes evenly also. I was leary about setting anything on it at first but have gotten over that and now consider this more work surface (within reason of course). Only bummer is the guys who installed it scratched my floor pretty bad. Id be pretty upset about that but we're going to replace it anyway soon.

Great range
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this range so far. I've made many loaves of bread - both the rustic sourdough loaves and sandwich type loaves - and have been pleased with the results. There's a steam bake setting on it which is great for the rustic loaves. The cooktop being induction has all of the responsiveness you could want while being much easier to keep clean than alternatives.

Induction Range
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an outstanding product that we got for a very good price. We are very happy with the cooking aspect. Having induction is a little different than what we are used to but we are catching on quick. I highly recommend this product.
