Old coffee maker started leaking, so time for a new one. I had looked around and discovered this one. I did look at another brand, but for the money this one I felt would be good. It may not be just like doing a pour over in person, but it does make good coffee. It simulates the pour over style of making coffee. Simple to use and operate. Slip a cone filter in, pour the water in the tank, put coffee in, press the button, and your done. I typically put the filter in, fill with water nearly to the top, then drain it out. It is suppose to help eliminate any paper taste. It’s not a typical perk machine, so keep that in mind. It takes a couple minutes to heat the water. It does gently and slowly runs water into the grinds, which may take a little longer than typical units. It only keeps the coffee warm for about 1 hour. I typically only make what I’m going to drink or put in my mug, so that is not an issue. I tested this vs the old machine with the same coffee. I can honestly say it does make better coffee. We’ll see if it holds up or has any issues. I’ve had it for about a month. No issues so far.

Looks very nice but makes very loud noise while brewing cofee , plus only stays on for 2 hours doesn’t worth this much money!
