    Better then the Samsung

I didn't realize how much warmer stuff was in my old GE PROFILE side-by-side. The KitchenAid really cools everything equally. I did a lot of research and was dead-set on buying the Samsung RF267AA but I found too many negatives online. That's too bad since the Samsung has a better looking freezer. (it's a plastic cubicle vs. KitchenAid's removable wire hamper) The Samsung also had cooler looking blue LEDs vs kitchenAid's old looking alarm clock-like green LED. It's hard to find any bad comments about the KBFS20ET because it's a solid refrigerator. The doors also operate better then the other 1's I looked at. They are smooth and they close CORRECTLY every time you use them. I do wish the door racks were largerer. All 6 racks should be of the 2 gallon size. Who would want a SMALLER door shelf when you can have bigger ones? The KBFS20ET was also 1 of the only fridges with a temperature controlled meat locker. The top-mounted elongated water filter is also a pain in the juice! Why couldn't they have run it flush against a side instead on being slightly off-set? I'm probably just too picky.

I have really enjoyed this bottom freezer Kitchenaid refrigerator. It has lots of space in the door for all condiments and on the bottom of the door you can fit at least 3 gallon containers. There is an alarm to warn you if the freezer door or fridge door is left open. It also keeps our food very cool. Good product!
