The mixer works beautifully, and looks great. The bowl locks in place snugly and has a good heft to it, (but not too heavy). The mixers lock snugly onto the shaft and release easily (but not too easily). The box arrived well packed and everything in good shape. My only complaint is that the plastic guard fits on very precariously. It doesn't clip on or even stay on very well. In fact, it is kind of warped so that you have to push it in place and hold it there to stay....

I received one of these for Christmas last year and it has gotten use! Use it a lot t for pasta, ravioli, meat grinder, and making cookie dough. Bought this one from r my daughter who cooks a lot from scratch!

A holdout for purchase for a long time due to space, now I don't know how it got along without it.

I learned to make great pizza dough, but needing by hand was too much. This was a bit of an impulse buy, but we use it for everything. Solid construction and looks great.

So far, so good. Used it for several items baking. It performs as advertised. Glad we got it.

I bought this as a less messy way to knead bread; turns out hand kneading is much better than using this mixer. The dough hook is dysfunctional and the dough ends up pudding-like but also overkneaded. It might work well for other things but do not buy this for bread making. Terrible purchase; do not recommend.

Wish I had bought one of these sooner in life. These really are worth the money and will buy one for my mother in law if they are ever in stock again.

Have wanted one for a long time and now it's mine and love it. Have made several loaves of bread and work's great. If you want a loaf will send you one. Very good...

Kitchen aid provides good mixers. These typically work good, however returned since it was smaller then what we were looking for.

Just bought it and used it already should have bought it years ago strong enough to do any job makes me feel like a professional with professional equipment

Use it often. Very helpful when cooking for a family get together or baking with the gandkids

Bought this as a present for Xmas...used it immediately and didnt have any problems. Clean the bowl with a little olive oil to remove any dust or grease residue before first use and you should be fine; other reviewers said their dough came out black and the residue is what did it. Havent had any problems with this item and have used it 4 times since purchase. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in a stand mixer.

KitchenAid is the best option to buy it is really good but the only issue we had with that this item when you add flour and water sometime boll was losing

The milkshake color is NOT white, not even close. It is a light grey taupe. It is a grey. It should be considered in the grey family. I watched a lot of white comparison videos and searched photos since we are in a Pandemic and cannot go into stores to see colors in person. I was hoping for a soft white, not a stark bright. I have a great computer and screen and sadly, all images are washed out. Disappointed. But, now I know. Returned. Best Buy was great at delivery. I received my Kitchenaid Artisan mixer less than 24 hours after ordering as guesstimated when purchasing online. Wow! Return in store was surprisingly easy as local store is now open. Discovered this location does not sell kitchen appliances; so, I could not see any colors in person for a simple exchange. Back to having to choose a color. I wish listed colors were actual descriptions not subjective guessing. I would never drink a light grey taupe milkshake. I hope this helps someone know what “milkshake” translates to.

My 1952 KA mixer still works. BUT, the glass bowl chipped and I thought I'd try the new one. It keeps up with and has exceeded expectations. The KA Artisan is the ONLY mixer you will ever need.
