Needless to say, she did no abuse it in any way. She used it off and on mostly during college breaks for about a 1 1/2 years. The gears seemed to have given up on the mixer... And out all the articles, this mixer is the one item I did not buy the 2 or 3 years extended warranty because we never thought it would give up on us in less than 2 years. It stopped working about 4 months ago.

I like it but it’s not as strong as my old one. It struggled a bit while making pasta dough. Because the bowl is the same size as my old mixer, I thought a could use my utensils as extras. But the new utensils are much smaller. Overall...good for the price but I wish I spent a little more and got the pro
