The price was nice but the machine just broke down on the second use. Would not recomend this to anyone.

not useful product. I thought it was a complete set.

I grew up using a Kitchenaid mixer for all my moderate cooking and baking needs. My mother had gotten her kitchenaid from my father and it's lasted nearly a decade and shows no signs of stopping! It has a wonderful array of uses with it's various attachments, from grinding carrots in the meat grinder for carrot cake, to juicing and cutting pasta. Kitchenaid is by far the best mixer on the market that is within a moderate budget for the average individual*. *I base this off a value under say: $500. You are making a very wise investment with a kitchenaid and I know you will love it for many, many years to come. The only "con" of buying a kitchenaid mixer, is choosing the color! It is nearly impossible! Regardless the color, this mixer is built to last, simple as that. And you're going to get a lifetime's use out of this spectacular product!

Not as powerful heats up and doesn't mix thoroughly

It missed attachment spring. I will try to get it ,if it is not i will return it.

The color is BEAUTIFUL in person just as in the picture! It works just great and the endless attachments are everything! I have had it for over 2 years and she works just as good every time.

I'm a machinist by trade, so I know manufactured quality when I see it. THIS MACHINE HAS IT! It has unbelievable quality built into it. It is a lifetime piece of equipment. All manufactured from powder coated metal, with a planetary gear system on the head, along with a power takeoff on the front, much like a farm tractor. This thing is the "John Deere" of kitchen mixers. It's no wonder why these things are so popular. They have an all but limitless amount of tasks they can accomplish. Don't waste your time with cheaper kitchen mixers that don't have the power, are a pain to clean, and burn out in a year of normal use. Buy this model and you will have it for life. Then your kids will be able to use it until they die off. This thing is that well made.

I use mine all the time!! I've been wanting one since I was a child and I finally got one! I use it any chance I can get. It makes live in the kitchen a breeze and it's more exciting to try new recipes. Now I'm staying to collect the attachments. So far I have the cheese grater that I used for Thanksgiving to make homemade Mac N Cheese!

I've wanted a stand mixer for a couple of years now and finally got this one. So far i'm very happy with the purchase, cuts the time of using a hand mixer considerably. Good quality product and it looks good too. The only real downside to this is its kinda heavy and bulky when finding a space to store it. But thats expected with a durable, reliable product as this one.

I am from Italy, and I am working for a while in the US, so, I always wanted one of these mixers (Euro/Dollar change rate helped me a lot :) ) then it's the first thing I wanted in my kitchen. Best Buy had one of the best prices around, so... Let me say that when you open the box, the item is very very pleasant to see...well refined, all the things have glossy painting, very nice. But it has to work, as well, so I tried to do the thing I miss more here in the US: the bread (sorry guys, but we are used to another kind of bread, no offense :) ) I decided to try with a small amount, just to test the machine...well let me say that it's not the way this item is designed to work: the mix sticked to the hook, and it almost stop mixing, it just turn with the hook, so I had to stop the machine, tear it away, start again. A couple of times the mix divided in two parts, one staying in the bottom of the bowl, and, again, had to stop and put the mix togheter. Not that good, in my opinion. But keep in mind that this happened to me just for small quantities. When I tried to use it for some more bread, almost the full capacity (something like 4 cups of flour) the thing works great, the mix is perfect. A thing I didn't like is the speed: two seems to be too fast for bread making, one is somewhat too slow, you have to adjust it, because with two the mix tends to come up on the hook. But this may be just a question of adjusting my habits of using the machine. Anyway, I did mayonnase, whipped cream, beated whites, mix for pancakes and crepes, and bread and donughts and so on...just keep in mind that I had problems managing small quantities. Another thing I cannot understand is: if they sell a tool to make ice cream, why don't they sell a slow cooker? It would be nice to make soups, vegetables cream, rice, and a lot of other nice things, that is a great hole, it should be the first thing, with such a bowl. In Italy I have the worverk cooking machine which work this way and it is wonderful, it helps me a lot (and saves me a lot of times). In conclusion, if you bake, basically, and you make mixes (well, is a mixer, you are right) in the right amount, well, it's the right item: it does what is intended for, and nothing else. If you are alone, and you don't use it so often, or if you want something more versatile, well, you should try something else.

this mixer is awesome you just add the ingriedients and turn it on and it does the rest. Its pretty powerful I have yet to need the higher speeds. It's also really pretty and has a ton of attachments available. My only complaint is that it's harder than my old mixer to scrape the sides and to add ingriedients but the splash guard with the spout helps with that, it's just a little different than I'm used to.

I love my stand mixer. I got it for Christmas after my other mixer finally gave up the ghost. I use it every week to make bread. But I also use it to make just about anything else I want. I have several attachments: 1) grain mill; 2) Food grinder & strainer; and 3) rotor slicer/shredder. I use all of the attachments on a regular basis. The food grinder & strainer is perfect when I want to make my family homemade spaghetti sauce using the tomatoes and herbs from our garden or my popular (at least with my family) homemade tomato soup. The grain mill is perfect to grind the grains for the flour I use in my bread, cookies, and pastries. And the slicer/shredder cuts up the vegetables I use in salads, stews, etc., as well as shredding the cheese we eat so much of. Everything is easy to clean. This mixer is one of the few appliances I'm willing to even have in my kitchen--I have no microwave or dishwasher or blender, but the mixer has a place of honor. There are a couple of problems with it: 1) I dislike anything (except canisters and cookie jar) on the counter. I don't even own a drain rack for my dishes, but rather use old towels that can then be tossed into the washer. But, the mixer is too heavy to put away and pull back out again. I'm thinking that making it lighter would not be a good idea as I think the bulk and weight add to it's stability and efficiency, but if it's possible, a lighter mixer would be nice; and 2) It's a little noisy. It's not something you use in the quiet of the night or if you want some peace and quiet at anytime of the day. Despite the two drawbacks I mentioned above, I love it and wouldn't trade it for any other brand or mixer, unless of course Kitchen Aid can come out with one as sturdy and efficient as this one and yet be lighter and quieter.

I purchased this mixer a few weeks ago and I have been in love ever since. It is extremely easy to use and all the attachments really make this mixer. Has the ability to do just about everything, all while making everyday life so much easier. Cookies are a breeze, cakes are a piece of cake and frosting is so simple. I would highly recommend to anyone and this is a fantastic gift idea as well. Happy cooking!

We've had our kitchen aid stand mixer for 4 years now and I will say it is by far one of the best home appliances we have. We have used it for making breads, desserts, pasta, sausage and more. It is something you will never regret purchasing!

stopped working with two years of use, I'm in Brazil and not how can I fix it ... Very sad ... Too bad I can't use it again.....

KitchenAid mixers are the gold standard for home use. We had one for 20 years. It was larger and significantly heavier in part because of the larger, heavy glass mixing bowl so we decided to get this one which is more than adequate. We separately purchased a "flex edge beater" (Amazon in our case - about $20). It's great for mixing dough because it scrapes right off the surface of the metal mixing bowl. If you do that, be sure to order the one for this mixer with the tilt head. Very glad we bought this. Highly recommend it.
