    It is good. But not as much as i was expecting from Kitchenaid. I was expecting more sophisticated and smooth grinder. Its edges are sharp, not very hands friendly. Grinds goods so far

    I use it as a spice Grinder only, and it works great. Only thing to note, I put a cotton tennis sock inside the plastic dome before I close it to set to grind. I discovered that the plastic lid could come off during grinding and it will be a mess, but with the added pressure of a sock, the seal is get tight ...

    The grinder has low power so it cannot really grind larger pieces. Also, the pot size is way too small. Additional pots received as a combo have the same blades and thus does not really add much value. The original pot is a little bigger and can hold decent sized chunks of food. Do not recommend getting this one unless you plan to use it just for coffee grinding.

    Bought this KitchenAid Coffee and Spice Grinder in Onyx Black. So far looks good. Just Started using it, will likely Update Review once we have more 'experience' with it. Lid 'Lock' needs getting used to...

    Great spice grinder, not great with coffee beans. Would recommend going with a burr grinder for a more consistance result, and quieter motor (especially for morning fresh-grind users).

    I wanted this primarily for spices, and enjoy the two separate containers for spices. I haven't used the coffee grinder container because I do't drink coffee, but the spice grinding makes it well worth the price.
