Works really well, compared to my old grinder. Love the color and love how it works. High recommend!

I purchased this grinder as an alternative to my Proctor Silex coffee grinder. While the build quality is a lot better, the Kitchen Aid grinder is heavy and noisy. You need to press down on the lid while its grinding as a safety measure. Pros: Well built. Good quality components. Removable dishwasher safe stainless steel grinder container with markings. Cons: Power cord is not retractable. Noisy operation. Grinding of coffee beans is inconsistent at times, needs to be ground longer even though it has a powerful motor as opposed to other brands. Ground coffee sticks to the sides at bottom of the container near the blades.

It does the job for a basic grinder. It will spew coffee all over your counter. But if you place a single layer of aluminum foil over and around the top part of the grinding bowl to create a seal. It'll keep the coffee inside and you won't have to clean the entire thing after ever use. If you don't, you'll have to clean the entire unit about 7/10 uses. Other than that it's a great buy for basic functions.

This grinder had plenty of power to grind both frozen and room temperature coffee beans from Starbucks. Looks good also.

Grabbed this to use when main coffee grinder(s) break down. Surprisingly, we've had trouble with coffee grinders not lasting a long time. This small one has helped when bigger, fancier units die. Recommended for sparing use, not everyday use

I purchased this Cuisinart coffee/spice grinder as a treat for myself over the holidays (excellent price point). Perfectly ground coffee everytime!! This has quality blades, as to be expected from the Cuisinart brand. Highly satisfied! Its been yrs since I had a working coffee grinder and can again enjoy freshly ground whole bean coffees! The spice grinder attachment can be ordered separately and I'll be getting that soon!
