As everyone knows, KitchenAid is a household name. There products are well known and pricey. That being said, I finally broke down and purchased this KitchenAid mixer. I used it only once and did not experience any mechanical issues with the product. Why the 3 star rating you may ask? Upon close examination of the supposed stainless steel mixing bowl, I noticed that the "lip" of the mixing bowl was discolored. I tried cleaning the bowl, but I was not successful and the blemishes persisted. It did appear to me that the lip of the mixing bowl had started to rust! The product was subsequently returned to Best Buy. Customer service accepted the item back with no issues.
