Nice mixer, seems to have plenty of power for what I’m mixing, ( cookies, bread dough, cakes, shredding chicken) fits nicely under the cabinets.

I purchased this Kitchen Aid mixer for my granddaughter for Christmas after using one myself for many years. She was exited to receive it as she was expecting a cheaper product. If you're looking for a stand mixer, this is the gold standard. I've used mine for everything from cookies to meringues to bread and pizza dough, and it handles everything I throw at it. I love that I can buy attachments to get more use out of it and that all of the attachments are more forward and backward compatible- no more worrying about an appliance growing obsolete. This mixer is very heavy, but it is absolutely beautiful so leaving it on the counter is not a problem.

This is a great little mixer, my wife loves it and it helps make our kitchen more useful. It seems fairly reliable and sturdy. A little heavy, but that helps keep it from moving around or tipping over - safety first! Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good little mixer. If you're short on counter space, this is good since it takes up less room than the larger models.

The mixer needed adjusting to stop the head from shaking so much that it would cause the lock to release. Just takes a few turns of a screwdriver, now it mixes the stoutest doughs effectively without dancing across the counter, overheating or releasing its lock. Great for small batches, bread recipes up to 4 cups flour.

I used to question what I would really use a stand mixer for - wow, I should have gotten one a long time ago! Perfect examples of what I've used it for in just this first week: Whipping mashed potatos Whipping eggs Making cake batter Making buttercreme frosting for the cake These are just a few things I've used it for - many more down the road! It's built like a freaking tank - when you pull it out of the box it's like a panzer entered the room. Solid metallic construction, built to last! And it looks fantastic - the finish looks like a baked-on automotive finish. Save your arm and your shoulder - if you mix in your cooking adventures, get one - you'll love it!

Absolutely love it! Perfect Christmas for the chef in the family

For a long time, I wanted a stand mixer but was unsure if I really needed it. For some, it is a kitchen tool and for others it's a monument to your serious desire to bake. Now that I have one, I am kicking myself for not getting it sooner. The version I'm testing came with the 275 Watt motor, 4 1/2 Qt bowl, and 3 baking attachments. With that being said, this mixer opened doors to new baking ideas that I would have never attempted without it. So far, I used it to make the dough for homemade bread and New York bagels from recipes I found on the internet. While using the mixer there were a few things that stood out about it. One, was that it wasn't as heavy as I expected. Another is that it was constructed very well. The Tilt head did not shake rattle or wobble and neither did any of the knobs or switches. When making the dough, the mixer didn't move around and required little to no intervention on my part. The thing I didn't like about this mixer was that the bowl and whisk felt like unfinished steel and had a black oily coating on them. After a few washes, the coating was gone but they still felt like unfinished automotive tools. While I would have liked to have a higher quality bowl and whisk they still worked just fine for what I was doing. Overall, I would recommend this mixer to anyone who wants to take their baking to the next level.

It's a little smaller than I thought but it's still a great size and quality.
