    I've been waiting for these for EVER!! I don't know why KitchenAid didn't make replacement beaters for my common hand mixer which my daughter-in-law gave me for Christmas over 5 years ago now. I found an odd pair online that fit but were wobbly and did not work out so went back to using my broken original pair. But when I saw these and that they could fit my model mixer I bought them on the spot. They had to be shipped to my local store but I love these things! Clean mixing and a lot less noise than metal beaters. Seriously, I love these things.

    The added silicone keeps the beaters from scratching my pots and pans up and it makes the beater wider so that it mixes better, no stray lumps!!

    Another expensive $400 stand mixer I bought years ago because it was highly recommended stopped working and the gears broke while I was making candy . I use my hand mixer for short uses and had not used the stand mixer because my candy recipes require long periods of of beating. Not even a full first use and it started grinding and stopped. Penneys would not replace it because I had it awhile and didn't use it until the holidays. I finally got my dream machine to make candy again for my grands.
