After lots of use the rubber bends so doesn’t get the sides anymore

It scrapes the side of the bowl moderately well. It is easy to clean.

We added this accessory after having our stand mixer for a while. It increases the efficiency of the blending of ingredients by scraping the sides of the mixing bowl as it beats, instead of having to stop and use a spatula to clear the mixture from the sides of the bowl. We use it all the time in place of the original beater.

Perfect fit. Made mixing cookie dough much easier. Cleaning is simplified with ceramic (?) coating, batter/dough rinses off easily.

Love it. Perfect addition to my mixer. Great for mixing batter. No need to dirty a spatula or spoon like before.

Bought this accessory for use when mixing more liquid items that stick to the edges of the bowl. The attachments that came with this mixer weren't as great for items of a more liquid consistency and I didn't want to stop the mixer multiple times to scrape the edges.

I just recently had to purchase a new Kitchenaid mixer after my 18 year old one died. I cannot live without one, as I cook and bake a lot, and use my mixer very frequently. This is a simple tool, but extremely helpful as I can put my batter in, turn the mixer on, and don't have to stop it to scrape the bowl. It helps me make less of a mess and be more efficient. In fact, I keep it on the mixer all the time and never use the original beater any more.

I got this mixer attachment with the Artisan series mixer machine as part of a bundle deal. It is is worth the extra money for my wife to have it!

My Kitchenaide bowl is too big to use it for the whole bowl. When I used it I liked it, it worked well for the part of the bowl it could reach.

If you have a Kitchenaid mixer, this product is a must. I use it all the time for cookie and cake mixes. It cuts down on mixing time because I rarely have to stop and scrape the bowl. I actually have several of these so that I don't have to stop and wash it when I'm doing multiple items.

My wife is a Kitchen Aid junkie and loves all the attachments. She regularly uses the edge beater so when i saw this one with the rubber scrapper, i had to get it for her. She used it the same day and stated it worked wonders on scraping the sides and reduced dramatically her need to use the spatula.

It is was the important missing part....this mixer is not complete without it....it is great for making bread and cookies.....I should have bought it with the mixer......

A trusted brand like Kitchen Aid is a no brainer for quality. A good price to boot. Easy to use and clean.

I bought this at the same time as my Kitchenaid Stand Mixer. It works great and I highly recommend it. I think it is so essential that Kitchenaid should include it as one of the standard accessories when you buy the mixer. But, they don't. :( You should still get it, because it makes baking much quicker and you don't need to scrape the sides of the mixing bowl.

This flex-edge beater takes an already great product and makes it even better. A must-have for anyone with a kitchenaid. Does a great job of scraping the edges to ensure that everything in the bowl is mixed properly and nothing gets lost and stuck to the sides. The only beater I use.
