Our old dishwasher sprung a geyser mid-COVID. We did some research but bought this one sight-unseen. It is fantastic. It is so quite I have to double check to make sure it’s running. It cleans off caked on food. It dries nearly 100%. And, this third rack is very convenient. Is it a bit more expensive - sure. But, it’s worth it.

I've had this Kitchenaid dishwasher model from Best Buy for 15 days. Delivery and installation (by only 1 person who did everything) was prompt and seamless. I appreciated the product and pre-delivery instructions from Best Buy beforehand, which I read twice over to make sure nothing went wrong during Delivery Day. Be paranoid and measure everything many times. We've had a 2007 GE Monogram stainless steel dishwasher previously. It died (water valve issue after power outage). This model is much quieter than our old model, however, it is NOT NOISELESS. You will still hear water gently swishing, motor purring, etc. for all cycles you choose. It's still louder than I wanted but the lower db-rated, "noiseless" models were all sold out. The topmost third rack looks gimmicky but it turns out to be the best part of this machine. If you have an old dishwasher like mine, this certainly is an improvement. We did a lot of product research: Bosch was the other alternative. However, we had to choose this model due to measurement and availability constraints. Hope it lasts. The control panel is nice: you no longer have to GUESS what stage the cycle is at (you have to with the hidden control panel model). You are supposed to use detergent pods with this model, but I have been experimenting with a small amount of 7th Generation gel. Cascade pods - even the free and clear kind - exuded strong chemical perfume which stinks up the entire house when steamy dishwasher door opens at end of cycle. Because of the good delivery and installation experience, I am considering replacing other major kitchen appliances with Best Buy, crossing fingers for similar positive experience. Please tip your delivery person if you are happy: they are working hard during this pandemic. To ensure your old machine doesn't end up as landfill, best to bring it to recycling center yourself if you are able.

Replaced an older KitchenAid dishwasher with this gem and couldn't be happier. Very spacious with adjustable racks, quick, great drying and its quiet!! Had to put my ear next to it and feel the door for vibrations to make sure it was working.

My wife and I bought this after our old original unit which came with the new house was made inoperative due to a near-miss lighting strike on our home. The original was a builder's grade and I had to basically wash the dishes by hand first and use the dishwasher to "sanitize" the dishes. We decided to spend more on the replacement instead of getting another "builders grade" dishwasher so the machine would wash the dishes and not me. This was a smart decision as the KitchenAid model is fabulous. It cleans dirty dishes that I just have to do a simple water rinse in the sink first. Even if the dishes sit in the dishwasher for a few days until it is full. The 3 levels are a real nice feature and the adjustable 2nd level helps with some of our taller glasses. So far I have nothing to complain about.

It is everything we wanted in a dishwasher. Love the extra shelf, very quiet. Cleans everything very well. An excellent choice

This was bought as a gift for my daughter who has six members in her family. She loves it!!! The room in it is unbelievable!! The third rack/shelf is such a plus for someone with a larger family. It cleans the dishes well and they always come out dry. Excellent purchase.

Great, cleans the dishes, is super quiet (it can be hard to tell if it's on) and lots of control options. It does make some weird noises early in the washing cycle but not too loud

This is absolutely the best dishwasher I've ever had. It is so quiet you must put your ear to it to hear it wash. It does a fantastic job. I certainly would recommend it to anyone. The third rack is also very handy. I put large utensils, lids and smaller objects in it.

This dishwasher is quieter than our Bosch and we didn't think that was possible! The third rack is actually quite amazing and it now takes so much time to fill this bad baby up, that sometimes we run out of clean plates. It holds so much!

I was very tired of accidentally touching the control panel on my old dishwasher, which was on the front, and turning it on or off or messing up the cycle it was in at the time. This dishwasher has a recessed control panel. So much nicer. I opted for the tall tub with 3 shelves that was rated as slightly louder than the other KitchenAid Best Buy offered. I can tell the difference, but it's still very quiet. Love the third shelf, since small items like cups and glasses are what we seem to have the most of. No more partial loads just to wash glasses! Also love being able to put the big serving pieces on the top shelf. There is one thing I miss - this particular dishwasher doesn't have a count down timer. Hint, hint, KitchenAid! Also, the salesman who helped me was very knowledgeable and willing to answer the dozens of questions I had. I never felt talked down to. Thanks!

I tried another highly rated brand and sent it back for the Kitchen Aid. It has a versatile third shelf that accommodates more than just silverware. It’s extremely quiet, loads easily and has excellent cleaning capabilities. I highly recommend.

Really happy with this so far. I got this installed in July and it's surprisingly quiet. The third shelf is really nice to have and my dishes have consistently come out clean.

We absolutely love this dishwasher. It is SO QUIET and does a great job cleaning. The 3rd rack is perfect for small glasses or bowls and long-handled utensils. Among the options are a High Temp Wash and Sani-Rinse buttons. I would buy it again.

Great dishwasher. Very quiet. This Kitchaide appliance did everything sales team said it would. Quiet. Dishes are clean and easy to use.

Product design is excellent, love the 3rd rack and the ability to choose whether to use heat or air dry. May need to purchase more dishes as this unit holds everything we have with space to spare. The Best Buy installers were professional and did a great job.

Wow! The dishes come out so clean and the waher is so quiet while washing. The triple tray design seems to allow me to wash more items than my old one. If it holds up it will be worth every dime. It is a must buy!

Very spacious machine, quiet and good-looking. Picked this model because the wait time for a Bosch was too long. So far we are pleased with how clean the dishes come out.

Dishwasher cleans very well and is very quiet. Seems a little expensive, especially with installation and all the extra charges they added.

Pros--It looks nice Extremely quiet. almost TOO quiet 3rd rack is nice Cons--Poor cleaning Rinsing dishes is essential Can't clean pots and pans Can't clean day-old dishes We did a kitchen remodel, bought this to replace a 15 year old Bosch DW that had a non-working soap dispenser. Our work-around was to throw soap packet in the bottom an use the 30 min Quick cycle. Even then, the Bosch ran rings around this piece of junk. No rinsing, pots and pans, dried food---all spotless. I would take the broken 15 year old Bosch over this one any day. Do yourself a favor, skip this Dish Rinser and look at a Bosch.

I would rate this 4 1/2 stars because I am disappointed that the drying cycle doesn't dry the dishes thoroughly, as well as our last Kitchen Aid. I also can't tell the level of the rinse liquid; the directions don't seem to match up. However, it is very quiet and cleans the dishes efficiently. The lights on our last Kitchen Aid were colored. These are just white for each "completed" cycle. I thought the top rack would be a bonus, but I can't see how it reaches all the items we put there. I expected more with how expensive it was. The installation went quickly and very smoothly, but he wasn't really familiar with this newer model. He was very pleasant and polite.
