I tried purchasing a unit attachement to save on counter space but its not worth it if it breaks. I would not recommend buying this. I went with a standalone ice cream maker.

It is designed with the locking base type of bowl or it also clips into the model with the lift stand. Perfect if you want to make your own small batch Ice Cream!!
