Just had installed by professional plumber in a new basement bar build: surprise! Before you can even use the icemaker, you have to purchase the $40 filter it requires to work. You'd think one would be included on an item with this ticket price.... And of course no nearby stores have it in stock, so 3 more days I wait to have ice. Will update review if I have issues with it later.

Busty Buy sent two installers who arrived and said they were not trained to install the ice maker. After spending hours on hold and on the phone with Best Buy, we gave up and paid a plumber $200 to install the ice maker, but since Best Buy had not included the filter, we had to call the Best Buy customer service line. After 40 minutes of hold time and bouncing from department to department, they said I would have to contact a store. We also paid for them to haul the old ice maker off, which Best Buy has still not done. Never buy anything from Best Buy. Get a local company that has qualified installers and service. Best Buy is a joke. After all this, we are still waiting on a filter to be delivered from Amazon so I am not sure if the ice maker even works.
