I've just gotten this, so I haven't had a chance to do more than crush ice and make a smoothie with it. It did both effortlessly. It's also been very easy to clean. I hope to do more with it, such as make sauces and soups!

Overall, it is a great product. Very sharp blades. The cup's blade part cracked but KitchenAid replaced the part (blade and cup). It has been working fine since.

After an old bar blender smoked out over the holiday, I went looking for a replacement that reviewed well. First, this is a full-sized blender, KitchenAid makes a bigger one, but that must have a huge volume. Second, this is more powerful than I expected. My son has been using the smoothie cups quite a bit with frozen mango. He says it takes a fair amount of milk to make it liquid enough that the mango chops up well, but it works well as long as there is plenty of liquid.

The family uses this blender on a daily basis. It has no issues crushing the ice and other solid ingredients.

this item works just described and is easy to clean. My wife is happy.

Sturdy blender, solid feeling plastic parts. Plastic pitcher feels kinda' lightweight compared to glass, but we'll see how it holds up and resists scratches and chips. It's kinda' loud, (aren't they all?). I like the two separate smoothie jars for everyday use. I found that just washing them with the blender and a drop of soap does not clean the jars well, hand or dishwasher is cleaner.

So far so good. Simple design and was able to cut through some harder contents we threw in it. A bit of an ominous warning with a packaging sticker for CA residents (which I am not) about the cancer causing chemicals used to make this product. :/. Also it’s pretty loud which may be a trade off to get more power, but would be nice if Kitchenaid tried to design it with a bit more sound suppression.

I was a little leery that the blender was plastic, but it is super sturdy. My mixer is a KitchenAid so I thought I would give this one a shot. So far I've only used it to make protein shakes in the individual containers. By The Way: It crushes ice like a dynamo!

I didn't do much research on this blender before hand, just grabbed it because it was on sale but I've been satisfied with my purchase. I love that its a sleek base and matches the rest of my black and stainless Kitchen Aid appliances. I really love the personal cups because unlike my nutribullet I have the ability to control the blender settings.
