Since I am not a juicer nor a smoothie maker, I can't address those uses. I purchased this blender to replace a very old Black and Decker model. So far I've used it to process soups, and it has a very powerful motor and gets the job done very well. It's bigger and heavier than my old blender, but that should lead to excellent results.

Works great- easy to use and the ice crushing part is wonderful.

Purchased as a gift and they love it. Easy for them to use makes great smoothies too.

This will one day belong to a grandchild. Great product.

Used the blender a few times. Bought it on 7-6-20. Feels solid and runs powerfully and quiet. Made hummus, and some smoothies so far. Blends much better and completes it much faster than any other blenders I’ve had. I’ve had a few in 63 years of living. The self cleaning is an excellent addition to convenience.

I had a kitchenaid, glass/round unit. Went through the rubber thingy on the base unit b/c the blade mechanism would eventually lock up. They don't make them anymore, so I went with this replacment. Very impressed! Ice turns to snow, excellent for hummus. Mixes very fast due to the four sided container.

I love this blender, very powerful. But I so have a problem with it jamming when using frozen fruit. I have to stop and move things around when i do. Like the self cleaning feature. Color is beautiful. Despite jamming sometimes i would still recommend.

Purchased my new blender when my old KitchenAid blender’s motor burned out. This new model makes smoothies and self cleans! It is so easy to use and is a great addition to my appliances. Looks great on my countertop too! I would recommend this blender to anyone looking for one.

Very impressed with the quality of this blender. I was very surprised by the weight of the base and motor, which gives it a feel of quality. It's the nicest blender I've ever used! The mixer bowl is a type of plastic, it is not glass.

Great blender! Easy operation. Cleans easily with specific cleaning mode. Made from quality material. Wish it came with tamper and smaller containers .. they can be purchased separately from Kitchen Aide. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Thank you Best Buy for stocking the KitchenAid K400 Variable Speed Blender - Passion Red. It was a lot cheaper than the direct manufacturer. My wife loves it and it matches our kitchen perfectly; plus she doesn’t have to deal with the old screeching high speed electric motor noise any more. (we were really dodging the “Bullet”, get it “The Bullet”) Whew!! It’s a great replacement and upgrade, we haven’t experienced it fully yet. But we will. Hopefully you guys can stock on some of these 16-oz-personal-blender-jar-expansion-pack-for-kitchenaid-k150-and-k400-blenders. They’re hard to get because they are always out of stock. And thanks again Best Buy, like your name says you’re truly a Best Buy!

My wife but there’s K 400 blender and it has served as well. I do wish it was more technologically advanced when it comes to maybe having a screen and making some kind of user interface visual or sound feedback rather than the vanilla simple turning wheel, but in the heat of the moment when you are cooking it will focus on what matters most and that is getting quick easy access to simple blending technology features. You don’t get an app or a screen to mess around with when your hands are full of food or cooking material plus it’s not going to get dirty easy and durability as long as the engine and the internals don’t break down this thing is made to last at least from what the design entails and the feeling of the product itself since it feels heavy and brings a sense of quality and durability. For new users I do recommend saving the manual booklet or find the online PDF and keep that around for a little while until you memorize what each feature is supposed to do on the dial. This is hands-down the best blender that I ever had! It is very powerful & the base makes it very sturdy. I make awesome smoothies with this blender. I could not recommend this blender enough....just perfect!! :)

Great blender! I use it everyday, and it's amazing! Smoothies come out great! and it's very easy to use. I was a bit worried when I first used it, because it did smell like burn but it doesn't anymore.

I am really happy with this Kitchen Aid blender.I still have my Kitchen Aid mixer bought in 1976. It still works super well. The new blender is good for making smoothies and other healthy drinks. This is important to me because now that i am growing older, my health has become more of an issue.

Blends and uses power efficiently. Has smoothie setting that basically blends at speeds necessary to have a perfect drink. Very easy to operate.
