Our old mixer was 34 years old. Wasn't working as good anymore. It is a kitchenaid and we never had any problems with it. Decided to stay with a proven product.

I had an Artisan for about 10 years. I used it often to make bread. But it wasn't heavy duty enough for the bread I was making so I needed something bigger. I purchased this one and it does the trick. The only reason for the 4 stars is it isn't easy to get the mixing attachments on or off when the bowl is filled with anything. It is also a little difficult to get the bowl on or off. I always feel like I am going to break something. On the other hand, I do like not having to tilt the head of it because I have undercounter lighting and I broke a couple of them while lifting the head on my old one.

I love the looks and the size of the bowl and attachments. It is a bit noisy, especially with dough hook on low speed. Don't know if it will loosen up with use.

I've waited for a long time to get a new KitchenAid after moving into the city and decided to use this recent sale to get the professional model over the Artisan I owned before. It is the greatest and I'm very happy I got it. It does everything it says but better and quicker than I ever was used to before. Couldn't recommend more.

It has exceeded my expectations. Easy to use , powerful and I can’t wait to get the attachments for it.

My new stand mixer works great and the sale price plus the $50 rebate offered by Kitchen Aid made this mixer an unbelievable bargain for an excellent 6 qt. mixer.Plus this mixer has numerous attachments that are available and Best Buy's customer support was top notch in the industry. I would definitely recommend Best Buy for all your shopping needs.

Great mixer for small or large batches of batter. I use it for large batches of bread dough which it handles with no problem.

This mixer will last a lifetime. It has a very strong motor and the arms help to hold the mixing bowl in place so it does not vibrate. My mother received the same model in a 5 QT as a wedding gift a loooong time ago and it still works. Thank you KitchenAid for maintaining your model and quality.

Was a gift to my boyfriend. He absolutely loved it and try and use it weekly. Always a good product, KitchenAid. Never had any issues.

The mixer is great for mixing large amounts compared to the 4 or 5 quart mixers. The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t tilt and makes it a bit harder to remove the bowl after mixing things up.

I needed a new mixer to help with our Grandsons graduation. I didn’t expect my mixer to give out 10 days before Graduation,especially since I planned to make French Macarones!! Well I got to work, threw out a few batches before I got good results,and by gully it was a great graduation, love my new machine!,

I have wanted a KitchenAid mixer for years. I was finally able to get one this year, and couldn't be more pleased.

We previously owned the Artisan mixer, which just didn't have the horsepower necessary for mixing 6 cups of flour or mixing things like sausage balls. While this mixer is taller than the Artisan, it still nicely fits on our countertop under our top cabinets. A bit more expensive, but the horsepower is worth it!

Kitchen Aid lives up to their name with this mixer and it's attachments. It is so simple to use and clean up couldn't be easier. My wife and I no longer need to whisk until our arms feel like they are going to fall off and the kids can help without the usual flour cloud from a hand held mixer.

My wife loved it. Now we make pizzas at home. I am in the process of buying pretty much all of the attachments. However, at the time I bought it there was a Kitchenaid promotion and BESTBUY was blind on it. I just wonder how many other promotions are being missed just because we shop at BESTBUY.
