This was an upgrade to my 20+ year old Kitchen aid stand mixer, which was only being replaced because the bowl would no longer stay secure when mixing thicker doughs or bread. I made all my Christmas cookies (double recipes) and still had a lot of room to spare. I love the security of the bowl in this style and won’t ever go back to the original twist in style. I actually look forward to making breads again!!!

I purchased the KitchenAid KP26M1XER Pro Series 600 Stand Mixer to replace my wife’s aging 15 year-old KitchenAid 4.5 quart mixer. This mixer is powerful, stylish and the 6 quart bowl volume is great for larger mixing tasks. On the down side, that extra capacity comes at the cost of much larger size and increased weight. It was so big (16.5 in x 11.3 in x 14.6 in) in fact, that it did not fit into our kitchen’s appliance garage and it’s 25 pound weight makes storing it elsewhere quite a chore. I’m sure this product would be a great fit for a serious cook who routinely tackles large recipes. But be sure you have a place to store it.....or the muscles to move it.

I have been wanting one these for along time. I wish I had picked one up sooner since, I had burned up a number of lesser powered machines making beard dough. This one has all the power a homecook would need. The purchase at bestbuy went great, the sales people very helpful and patient with all my questions. They helped me with the cedit application and I was able to get this with 0% financing. It has been 3 months and I am really enjoying this mixer and glad I bought it at bestbuy.

I’ve had this mixer for a while now and it’s never let me down. It’s a little heavy if you’re older and wanting to move it around, but if you leave it in place you’ll be happy with it for years to come

I really like this mixer. It is easy to use and easy clean up. Can handle big jobs, the motor dosen't bog down.

Still works after all this time. Heavy to move of course. Cleans easy. Christmas gift.

This mixer is powerful easy to use and goes beyond what options it has available than I realized. Very happy!

Make sure to hand wash the attachments even though they say top rack safe. I made the mistake of washing the flat blender in the dishwasher and it ruined it. But the replacement part was simple to find on Kitchen Aide. com and was only 14 dollars. You live and learn. The color will go with all the décor we will go through in the years to come. The mixer is extremely well build. The options of how to use it are endless.

Purchased it as a present for my mom who bakes a lot. She loves using it.

Have been using a lot. Works OK. I liked my tilt model better, but needed this model for the large bowl so I could make larger bread recipes. Seems to be quite noisy, but works ok.

I am going to say that this mixer works and leave it at that, at this point. I still have a Pro-6 that survived the biggest earthquake to hit the US in 50 years, and although dented works better than this Pro-600. I purchased this at a great price, however feel that Kitchenaid’s quality has gone far down hill. Fairly certain most of the inside gears are plastic, but have to confirm at some point. (Unlike metal gears of the old Pro-6) I went to make some bread (same recipe and flour always used previously) in the new mixer, and my wife comes out of another room, because she thought a jet engine was firing up, and not in a good way. This new mixer seems weak, sloppy, and on the verge of implosion. Since I got a decent price and warranty I figure I would keep it to see if it holds up, but I do not trust it overall. I’ll still use my old Pro-6 for the heavy stuff and backup.

Always wanted a Kitchenaid mixer made this purchase after finding the color I was looking for over the last several years. This milkshake has a hint of gray purpleish reminds me of a true milkshake. Meat grinder works like a champ. The stronger motor is better for grinding meat and other tough items. Also found a $60.00 rebate on this model. Bestbuy is an authorized seller of Kitchenaid products.

Very powerful mixer and very well balanced. The attachments make it easier to use .

The mixer is great for mixing large amounts compared to the 4 or 5 quart mixers. The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t tilt and makes it a bit harder to remove the bowl after mixing things up.

It has exceeded my expectations. Easy to use , powerful and I can’t wait to get the attachments for it.

I love the looks and the size of the bowl and attachments. It is a bit noisy, especially with dough hook on low speed. Don't know if it will loosen up with use.

This is my 4th KitchenAid Professional 600 mixer. The first two failed in a relatively short time frame but the last one lasted 6 years before gear failure. The motor has held up. Understand that it gets lots of fairly heavy duty use since I make all our bread and rolls. It handles all home mixing needs easily and great for making bread. We use it weekly so you can imagine just how many jobs it's done in the 6 year period. Caution: if you order it on the Best Buy website there are not 3 different black models........check the numbers on the Kitchenaid site to get actual colors for each model number

Execellent purchase!! This was a Mother's Day for someone who does a lot of baking. They were extremely surprised and grateful to have someone to purchase something of quality for them. A friend has one and raved about it, so I thought it would be fitting to buy one. They have had no problems since they've had there's, and so far, so good with this one.

My new stand mixer works great and the sale price plus the $50 rebate offered by Kitchen Aid made this mixer an unbelievable bargain for an excellent 6 qt. mixer.Plus this mixer has numerous attachments that are available and Best Buy's customer support was top notch in the industry. I would definitely recommend Best Buy for all your shopping needs.

Bought for GF as a gift so I have no experience with it. But she's a baking instructor and loves it every time used. The power and capacity is worth it. It also has the metal gears and cover after researching, something earlier models didn't have and issues occurred. Attachment upgrades are fantastic. Fellow Facebook user had pics up slicing pasta and looked great.
