Leaks from blade shaft

Not a huge leak, but it would fling a little bit of the blender contents into the base of the blender and onto the base of the blender. Sometimes it would leak some oily black liquid, perhaps a lubricant of some sort on the shaft. It leaves it in a perfectly horizontal line as others have mentioned. Leak gets progressively worse the more you use blender.

I had the same "Kitchenaid" Blender for the last 18 years and never had a problem with the blender after all the use and years of it till it seen its day. Normally I would recommend a Kitchenaid Blender.... but wouldn't right now after it not working being brand new.

Already Broken but Past Warranty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We've only had this blender for 2 years and it just suddenly stopped working. Unlucky for us it just passed its warranty too. I really expected a Kitchenaid to last more than 2 years. Really disappointed.
