    Would be great mixer but missing attachment spring

    I bought and returned 3 of these mixers. All missing the attachment spring. Every single Kitchenaid mixer ever made has a spring on the attachment shaft. My Grandmother's, Mother's, Aunt's, and every friend's I've ever seen, every single display or picture on the internet has this spring. I buy one, then two then three and none of them has this spring. I'm not going to have the only mixer on the planet without this spring. I took them all back and will most likely buy a Beville. It has the spring and I'll loose out on being able to add all of the attachments that Kitchen Aids can have I guess.

    Buyer Beware! Best Buy sells refurbished Kitchen Aid mixers as new products. Brought a brand new mixer and was disappointed to find that the beater was scratched, a nick had a bad paint job, and there was a wire sticking out of the handle. Returned it and got another mixer. Same problem. This time the bowl was scratched in several places, and ther was a nick under the handle. See photos below.

    I was so excited that I finally got a Kitchenaid mixer and then I found the scratch, I will be returning it to Best Buy. I never used it so I don't know if it is a good buy or not but I will be ordering another when I return it. My advise would be to check everything before using your mixer.

    Ordered on line and wrong mixer delivered. The replacement mixer blew circuit breaker when turned on. The 3rd mixer has worked so far. Spent much time on the phone and 3 trips to the nearest Best Buy store to resolve the issues to date. No link to sent this review!
