I’ve tried different food grinder attachments, and this KitchenAid one is by far the best. It’s easy to use and clean, and it grinds meat and veggies smoothly. The quality is excellent, and it makes a big difference in my cooking. Definitely worth the upgrade.

We skin/clean our own deer, this machine is a key component to processing our venison. Whatever isn’t steaks is ground up and freezer sealed for burgers, soups, goulash, anything ground beef (venison) is called for. A+++. Has saved us some much money not taking deer to a butcher but doing it ourselves and the satisfaction of having done it ourselves; from the harvest - everything in between - to the cooking.

I have always wanted a meat grinder and this was an easy decision. We love our KitchenAid and I have known about this attachment for years. My wife's cousin has a cattle farm, so we buy a half beef at least once per year. We pay an extra charge for the meat packers to grind up our beef and create hamburger patties. This attachment makes it very simple to grind up beef and pork. Cleaning the product is very simple and it is very easy to use. The inserts for the grinder are solid metal and make it easy to get to the grind size you want. The first thing that I made with the grinder, as well as the sausage stuffer attachment, was a wonderful pork sausage. You need to cut the meat up into chunks small enough to get through the tube, and you will also need to use the plunging insert to push the meat down, but it runs through the meat very quickly. All of the metal feels like solid steel, it is very heavy and feels like it is going to last. Very happy with this product.

Great build quality. Easy to use. Wish they had more tips and advice in the directions but I’ve figured it out with online tutorials. Best tip I can give you is grind your meat when it is thawed but still frozen. I made a bunch of briskets and bought this some the trimmings didn’t go to waste. I ended up with 10lbs of ground beef. Paid for itself.

This stand mixer from Kitchen Aid is such a nice addition to our kitchen. It’s powerful, easy to use, and well built. Attachments are easy to swap, and the ability to use grinders, pasta makers etc. has us using it more than we thought.

I got this on a daily deal at 30% Off so decent price. The parts are all very heavy duty and look very durable. Easy to disassemble and wash. Wish it was dishwasher safe but easy hand wash. We ground some ham and it was really easy and kinda fun. I have no complaints and it did what it said it would do.

Use this to grind up venison that we mix with peppercorn bacon and it is a work horse. The hopper and chute you pace the raw product is smaller than more expensive units. Easy clean up and built well with stainless steel parts.

This is a solid metal piece of kitchen aid equipment. I knew the plastic one would last as long so I decided to purchase this one and glad I did. It grinds meat with no problem. I mainly purchased this to grind up different meats for my dogs because I cook their food. Since one of my furbabies became ill after eating a holistic food brand and another started losing her fur after eating the same companies treats. I decided to change their diet and fix their food and treats myself. I knew I needed a meat grinder to achieve what I was trying to do. I am very happy with this device and glad I made the choice to buy this grinder. I have blenders and food processor but this does a better job.

This is the best addition to my Kitchen Aid set. Brilliant and improved structure over my old plastic one. It is all metal, strong, and grinds meats with ease.

I used to feel disgusted eating store bought ground beef and decided to buy this metal grinder to make my own and I love it. No more hard bits and pieces in my ground beef, texture is great, tastes so much better and I know exactly what I'm eating. You have to invest a little bit of time grinding meat and cleaning parts afterwards but it's totally worth it.

I see this thing used a lot on cooking shows and decided to take the plunge and get one. Short version: really great idea. I'll be the first to say some of the KitchenAid attachments are garbage, but this one actually is an A+ for me. While it does leave a tiny bit of meat leftover that can't get pushed through the grinding plate, it's not enough to worry about. I was able to grind 2 pounds of short ribs in about 5 minutes and cleanup took about as long since the whole thing disassembles easily. Parts feel solid and like they won't get metal shavings in my food, so that's cool too. I"ve used it a couple times now and see no sign of wear or tear. I do recommend freezing the grinder parts for about 3-4 hours before use and definitely letting the meat firm up in the freezer for at least 30-60 minutes prior to grinding, but it will work if you don't do that, just not quite as well. If you want to grind your own meat at home or want to get it for someone who might (ex. hunters), I recommend this if you already have a KitchenAid mixer laying around. Don't forget to check if it's compatible with your model of mixer!

Husband loves making meatballs with this attachment. The attachment is a must have with the mixer. It is kind of expensive but well worth it.

KitckenAid- Metal fifo grinder attachment is a good product. It's made from heavy duty metal. I attached to my old Kitchen Aid perfectly. Easy to mount and to clean. I think it is first review I ever made I highly recommend it. I love KitchenAid products they are usually very good quality products.
