It does the job with some shaken haha. This mixer is good but the fact that mixer is on the air of the platform it shake and shakes the whole countertop and it doesn’t come with a cover so the flour flies everywhere you have to be always alert. If you don't mind that then is for you.

This Kitchen Aid Mixer has all the power and attachments necessary to make killer cookies, bread, and a lot more.

What can you say... it's a KitchenAid mixer. I bought this one as a gift for my wife to replace an older KitchenAid mixer (that still works perfectly!!) that we got for our wedding almost 25 years ago! We use these all the time. At least once a week all year long and during the holidays quite a bit more. We throw parties where we bake gingerbread houses and make ravioli and our trusty KitchenAid mixer is at the center of it all, with the dough hook in place making dough. Really the only reason for replacing the old one is that this one has a larger capacity bowl and a fixed motor head instead of the tilt motor head! This one works perfectly just like the last one. In fact the 25 year old one may end up staying around so we can use two at the holiday season! If you need a solid mixer, this is a solid option!!!

This is the best the thing out there and I don’t use it enough. I literally only bought this to make a cake/icing for my nephew’s first birthday, but it shreds chicken so smoothly and makes butter in seconds. Not to mention it makes mashed potatoes the creamiest you have ever had. Why get a smaller one when you can get this bad boy for a little more? I mean seriously, it’s worth every little penny. And the way it does dough! Man... I don’t cook enough anymore, but she looks so pretty on my counter and I literally have nothing on my counters. Cancer took everything out of me, but when I do get that little bit of energy I bring her back to the front and we cook together. :-) Trust me, you need this! And the shredder attachments.

This is a fabulous mixer. Having worked in professional kitchens, I have seen this mixer used many times without fail. The steel mixing bowl takes some fiddling to attach it to the mixer, but it gets easier as you use it. Make sure you wash all of the washable parts (mixing bowl, the different attachments) as they have a coating from manufacture before using. This is one serious mixer that should last for the next 20-30 years!

Everything was great with the mixer it is very nice to let it do the work while you continue prepping the rest of the meal the only problem is it was hard for me to get a scraping beater for it with this particular model other than that I love it .

I got a great deal on this during black friday and i used it the very first night to make some brownies. great product and feels very strong. this is my first mixer and thought it was a bit loud but i would never get rid of it was it saves time and has so many cool things to make. Bought the ice cream attachment and should be coming in the next few days. can't wait to make some ice cream the way i want it to taste with ease.

It functions much better than my 30 year old version. The bowl shape and redesigned dough hook are a big improvement. The wider bowl makes it easier to add ingredients, although it does toss flour out more than the taller 5 qt. bowl. I plan to purchase the 6 quart bowl for it. There is a piece of metal between the bowl and the arm; it catches piles of flour. However there is a screw to remove it for cleaning. I did purchase a second mixer. The first one screamed when mixing. The second one was much better so I sent the first one back.

Got this for a gift for my mother, she had one for 20+ years and loved it but it wore out. Gave here this for a gift and she has been using it non stop, says it is as good as they ever were.

KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series--who knew i would be buying kitchen stuff from best buy! was on sale & got $200 off. this is my second kitchenaid. last one lasted ~ 10 years.

I bought this for my wife Christmas gift, at first she didn’t like it while it was still in the box, after she open the box and saw the size of it she loved everything about it. Small and neat look very nice on the kitchen counter. Once she started using it she loved it even more. She uses it to do all her kneading, ( bread, buns, tortillas & cake). It’s way more easier than the the hand mixer. She puts in all her ingredients and leave it to do the mixing while she does something else in the kitchen. It’s sturdy and quiet while in use. The parts are easy to clean and store after use. Overall a great product. I got her a few more accessories to go with it I love it too and the fact that it is made in USA I ended up buy 2 one in December and one in February. The second one was for a friends that is moving out of the country. They are loving it too.

We had purchased several other blenders from different companies and lower models of this brand but were unimpressed with the power and lack of capabilities. This one, however, is the one to get if you do a lot of cooking and need more capability than just mixing. First, this thing is a beast, I think it weighs more than my car! But it is solid and gets the job done without bogging down. The bowl holder was a little difficult to get used to at first (it has a "holder" on the rear of the bowl and on the mixer). We got it figured out though. The accessory cover is also attached to the blender, unlike lower end models which I would lose quickly. The blender did an excellent job of both mixing materials for my wife's recipes and also at kneading some dough. The accessories (sold separately) get a lot of her other jobs done quickly without issue. The appearance is very professional looking and looks to last a long time, hopefully. It was a very good purchase and is worth the price. Good Shopping!

This is a life saver. My wife uses this specifically for macarons with the softer attachment and they turn out better than place we used to buy them. Also great for any baking needs really.

This thing is a beast. I have been making pizza dough like you wouldn't believe. Very easy to use and very durable. I've wanted to get one of these for years and I'm glad I finally did. This color looks great as well.

bought this for my daughter last year. She loves it & uses it all the time for her baking. It was a black friday sale 2022 & such a good deal!

This is an incredible mixer. The bowl is a perfect size, and the attachments are awesome.

Well, got this on a BB Deal of the Day...and it was worth every penny. So far, we have used this 4 times and love it. Its powerful (a little loud, but not horrible) and mixes very very well. Nice that this has the bowl/tilt/release and not the head tilt feature. Overall, A+
