So far, pretty great! Last KA was a refurb from KA. It fell off a counter and still worked for 2 years. I knew it had less life. BB's offer made it the right time for me. This one has 525 watts (check your watts). Its very quiet.

This is a high quality product. We use it for making bread and works well.

Con: It's loud. Pro: I find that I don't need to scrape the side of the bowl as often as I did with my last mixer. It is a great product and extremely useful. I would not recommend this for someone who doesn't do a who lot of extensive baking/cooking. There are smaller versions that would be better for that. I have so far made bread, cookies, cakes, butter and mashed potatoes in mine and it does a great job.

You can't go wrong with KitchenAid Pro mixers. They are built to last and are powerful enough to plow through the thickest dough and fast enough to whip up the thinnest of liquids. I have had one for many years and will probably never have to buy another. This was a gift to my daughter and I expect it will meet her needs for many years as well. This makes future gift ideas easier too as there are some really nice KitchenAid accessories that anyone would love to use with this machine!

The instructions were easy to use and the bowl is adequate size. Also, many attachments available. And love to bowl lift compared to tilt.

I have used this mixer a lot. I typically make large batches of baked goods and this has really made that a lot easier. It takes up a lot of space on your counter and is a little heavy to be moving it all the time. Plus it is difficult to put it in the cabinets. When I keep it out on my counter I find that I use it a lot. Some of the attachments are also a pain to clean, but worth the investment if you bake a lot.

Purchased as a gift, arrived next day!!! Works like a dream! Makes a beautiful addition to our kitchen. The attachments that were supplied were easy to use and the instruction manual made set up simple. The manual even included recipe ideas.
