In my previous home I had all KitchenAid appliances. In moving to FL and buying a new build home, the builder's grade appliances did not cut it with me. Within one year I purchased an all new kitchen with KitchenAid appliances. This dishwasher holds so much more and cleans so much better than anything I have ever had. Thank you Pacific Kitchens and Best Buy.

I've had many Dishwashers through the years and I can honestly tell you this is the best of the best. They advertise quiet, and this is one time they mean it. I have an open floor plan and I don't even know it's running. I put it to the test with an aluminum meatloaf pan with some meat burnings, and I was shocked that it cleaned it perfectly. For the first time I proudly own a dishwasher that cleans on the first try. I've had it for about 4 weeks now and I haven't had to re-wash anything, not even by hand. You won't be disappointed in this purchase.

Quiet in operation. Cleans excellently. The customer service representative in the store was very knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations as to what model would be suitable for us. He was thorough and accurate in placing our order, paying careful attention to all the details. Arrangements were made; the dishwasher and crew arrived on time and they knew what they were doing so the installation went smoothly and quickly. The dishwasher meets and exceeds all our hopes and expectations. We were thankful for the excellent in-store advice regarding the different options too. Although we have never had the hidden controls, we love them.

    Only 2 wheels remain

We bought this dishwasher and loved it. It was the highest rated dishwasher available at the time of purchase. In less than a years time, about 8 months, a wheel fell off the bottom rack. About a month later we lost another wheel, then another, then another! In about three months 6 of the 8 wheels have fallen off the bottom rack. Now the bottom rack has to be lifted and guided or it falls off the track. It is run daily, we do not overload it as all pots, pans, and lids are hand washed so it's mostly plates and plastic bowls in the bottom rack. The problem is that it's all plastic. We have ordered 4 new sets but need to order another 4 to get us through the next year. It is very quiet but with most modern dishwashers, it takes forever to wash a load, it doesn't handle heavily soiled dishes, and it does not dry them if you do not open the door fast enough after its finished the cycle. The washing issues are due to Energy Star compliance.

Super happy with our purchase of our KitchenAid Architect Series II KDTM354DSS 24" built-in dishwasher. Does a great job of cleaning and the racks are large and thoughtfully laid out. The dishes come out dry and free of any dishwasher detergent residue or odors. The unit runs very quiet and has lots of options using a easy to use control panel on the top side of the door. The LED panel lets you know where you are in the cycle and displays a 'CLEAN' message when the dishes are done. So far, I've been very pleased and impressed!!

Putchased as replacement for old Sears dishwasher that started leaking. We have been very pleased with how clean and dry dishes are at end of cycle. It is extremely quiet, uses much less soap and easy to load. Researched many choices and decided to go with top finisher in Consumer Reports testing.

After installation and warranty, I spent $1200 on this Kitchenaid Stainless dishwasher. Immediately, the stainless had problems. Despite promoting the "touchfree stainless" as a wonderful feature, it cannot be cleaned by any product. There are permanent streaks and drips that cannot be removed. Kitchenaid will not do anything under the 1-year warrantee. They hide behind the "30-day rule" for cosmetic issues. This is NOT A COSMETIC ISSUE, but rather a function of their poor quality. I have 18-year old stainless appliances that look as good as new, but the Kitchenaid looked horrendous after 2 weeks.

So far have not had any problems. My last kitchen aid died, electronic problems, easier to buy another than fix, This is not as big or easy to load as my last one,but will take some getting used to, Very quiet. Cleans great. Many cycles. Hope to have for 5 to 7 years. That is about how long they last. Happy with the dishwasher, but service at Best Buy-ugly. Excluding salesperson and installer, they were great. Management was a trip. Dishwasher was dented, promised to sell at a discounted price and after install tried to back down. After contacting corporate, bank card complaint they did right, but should I have to go thru that.

This replaced a 21 year old KA Superba (circuit board died). As it was 2 models old, it was heavily discounted. Good capacity and rack design, super quiet, and dries much better than the old one (even plastic!). Cycles take a bit longer but not too bad. The utensil holder is larger as well. I also like the exterior LED status indicator. My only issue was the Rinse Aid dispenser - initially it seemed not to fill to the point where you could see blue in the indicator. Excess leaked out and ran down the interior door. But after I ran a cycle, the indicator stayed fully blue and all is working fine now. A friend with the same mode had a similar experience. So it was more confusing than a true issue.

Owned a Kitchenaid Dishwasher since 2006 and it died earlier this year. Ordered a 400 series upgraded model, new design with three motorized spray arms and third rack from a large well known wholesale club. First one was delivered damaged and had to wait for an exchange. Second one was delivered and dead on arrival. Returned it and went online to bestbuy.com. Found this model. It actually is an older model than the one I bought originally from the wholesale club, but it runs a few hundred dollars less on sale. It has the same no filter self cleaning filter which is a great design for minimal maintenance and very effective. It lacks the third rack, which in reality is a good thing. The third rack on the more costly model actually got in the way and was very cheaply made and kept falling apart. No third rack is the way to go. Also, this model just has, in my experience, a tighter and better fit and finish. QC seems better on this model. I believe it was manufactured in a better factory than the "newer" models. It installed a lot easier due to the design, and it worked right away, and worked really well. I love the front facing display which gives you a quick view on the status and also tells you when you can still add dishes to the cycle safely. It also reminds you when it is time to run an "afresh" tablet to clean out the unit. The unit cleans dishes extremely well. It dries them better than the "newer" version 400 series did. The only negative I can find, and it is minor, is that even though it has a specification of 43 db, which is lower than the 44 db of the 400 series model, in my opinion, it is not as quiet. The 400 series seemed to have more padding, but also was harder to install because of the padding/insulation. Nonetheless, this unit was still extremely quiet anyway, and much more quiet than my previous high end Kitchenaid. Overall, this unit is a winner in my opinion. It has the no maintenance clean wash system, stainless interior, no third rack (again a positive), extra basket in the top rear, Pro Wash power wash in the back (works really well on pots), removal dual silverware baskets (very nice), adjustable tines (very nice). It does NOT have the bottle cleaners in the top rack, but it is NOT NEEDED because all my bottles come out amazingly clean already. Very happy!

OK - only had this for a month, but so far so good. Controls are easy to figure and configure. Dishes get REALLY clean in this one - much better than our old system that often left dishes dirtier at the top level than they started (and yes - all of those little jets on the sweeper arm were cleaned out, as were the filters/grinders/etc.). As advertised, the unit is SUPER QUIET - no distractions when you're watching the tele in the adjacent room. The unit is handsome, as is obvious in the photos. Understated elegance if anything. Assembly/installation took a wee bit longer than I expected - probably 2x what the unit it replaced took (so about 3-4 hours in total with just one person - me -doing the entire job). Overall, an excellent machine and well worth the money, especially if you can get it on a deep discount/sale as I did. Fingers crossed that it doesn't start leaking out of every possible seal like the old dishwasher did:)

I knew what features I was looking for and this Kitchenaid has them ALL. This is my third dishwasher, but my first Kitchenaid. I was looking for a dishwasher that was quiet, has adjustable tines (upper and lower), sleek look on the outside, but a display so I could know the progress. Lots of room and easy to load. This has EVERYTHING! It's so quiet my husband didn't believe me when I told him it was on. It has a powerscrub that I have put to the test. I have always rinsed and scrubbed my dishes before putting them into the dishwasher; makes no sense right? With this Kitchenaid Architect II Series I don't need to do this any longer. I have put everything from oatmeal to spaghetti sauce and it always comes out clean. My favorite feature is that all the dishes separate and none of them "fall on top of each other". BEST dishwasher EVER!

It is so very quiet! For anything that is dried on you must use one of the tougher cycles which takes a long time but I just turn it on after dinner and I don’t have to worry about it. Dries the dishes well which is one of the key reasons I bought this machine.

This washer was #1-rated in many places. Reviews said that you could put dirty dishes straight into it without rinsing and we found that to be very true. We even put a crock pot bowl in there. It had baked on lasagna and the washer cleaned it no problem. It's also very quiet. And Best Buy had the lowest price on sale. Love it so far!

This dishwasher cleans well for the most part. It is very quiet. They tell you to download the manuals but for my model thy haven't uploaded them on Kitchenaides Web site. I do not like the baskets, neither of them. If all you have to wash is flat plates, saucers, and small wine glasses you'll do fine. Anything else like pans, especially 9 x 13 casseroles, them you're out of luck standing the on edge, Also, on the bottom rack you cannot flatten the guides to load large items like slow cooker pots. The silverware baskets are three parts with the small front one being nonremovable. If you put anything in that basket it will NOT come clean. They push separating your silverware into individual pieces through the tops of the baskets but if you have a large family there are not enough slots. The baskets themselves are odd sizes. It does have a very good selection of cycles.

After scouring the earth looking for the best dishwasher for a reasonable price, I settled on this model. Based on the specifications and price, it should have been incredible, but it falls just a hair short in several areas. Here's my summary: Pros: -Does a good job cleaning dishes -Is very quiet -Dries dishes well -Easy to operate -Display on the front is very handy Cons: -Takes 2.5 hours for a "normal" cycle with dry -Gets a soap scum layer on the door using even premium wash packs and rinse aid. I've found running the rinse aid on the highest setting helps. -The pump has gotten noisier over the first month of use. I couldn't even hear it when it was new, but now the pump makes some noticeable noise when operating at the start of each cycle...not loud but definitely noticeable, and definitely louder than the sound rating. -Manual suggests running the nearest faucet for hot water before starting the washer, so you waste 5 gallons of water so it can use 4 gallons to do a good job on the dishes. -Racks are hard to load soup bowls in. They tend to fall over nearly flat pretty much anywhere you put them. -Clearance on the lower rack is tight for large casserole pans even with the top rack all the way up. Forget about putting serving utensils in the main silverware basket as they hit the arm. -Top rack is not removeable. All in all, it's still a very good dishwasher. I'd buy it again, but it could still use some improvements.

My biggest feedback is not so much on the dishwasher but on the great customer service I received from Best Buy during my experience. I actually bought this as an open box item, and got a GREAT deal. Was willing to accept a slightly flawed exterior as long as it worked, figuring it would work way better than a cheap model for the same price. The free installation deal running with this brand extended to open box purchases...bonus! But unfortunately, it was overlooked that the pieces needed to install the machine in my home were missing until they came to install. I called the store where I purchased it, and to compensate for their mistake, Best Buy offered me brand new in box dishwasher, at the same cost I paid for the open box, damaged model! WOW!!! That is above and beyond taking responsibility for an error. Awesome customer service, Best Buy! As for the machine, I've only had it a short time. It's is QUIET and cleans the dishes well. I do rinse them before loading and use a finishing agent as recommended. I like that it has a heated drying cycle, too. It looks great with my other stainless appliances from another brand (I wasn't about to buy Samsung dishwasher again after mine failed 1 month after the year warranty ran out!) I appreciate the buying experience and the product I ended up with.
