Customers are pleased with the ease of use and quality of the Vegetable Sheet Cutter Attachment - KSMSCA. Many appreciate its simple attachment and operation, along with its robust construction. However, some users note limitations regarding vegetable size and potential for food waste. The cutter works best with uniformly sized produce.

Bought this while on sale over Christmas. Finally used it tonight and put it through its paces.
First off; instructions are confusing, as other reviews have pointed out. Several good vids online to help.
I used several types of apples to start,(Brayburn, Johnathan, and Red Delicious) and the results were better than expected. Even thickness in the sheets and one continual sheet once it starts. Both blades worked well but the thin cut was more to my liking.
As others have pointed out, it doesn't go "to the core" so there is some waste if you don't use it for something else.
Clean up was a breeze but read the directions on how to clean the different pieces. AND....be careful cleaning the blades so you don't cut yourself.
I did like the fact the blades can be removed (if you know what you're doing) to replace or re-sharpen them.
Overall, I am pleased with the unit and ease of use, once you figure it out.
Only gave it four stars because of the instructions, not the unit itself.

Finally used the KitchenAid Vegetable Sheet Cutter. (I don’t have a lot of time to do a lot of cooking.) Had a little bit trouble figuring out how to put it together because the instructions are not extremely detailed. Tried to get the instruction video on KitchenAid website, but the website didn’t recognize the product. Once I figured out how the blade attachment fits in, it was a breeze to use and I quickly got the zucchini sliced.

My girlfriend took me up on a years old offer to buy her a KitchenAid mixer and had it in use making holiday cookies long before the holiday so I wanted something to put under the tree. We try to eat healthy, have a spiralizer and like "zoodles" so I thought the Vegetable Sheet Cutter would be another way to add healthy vegetables. I had also wrapped up some vegetables as "presents" to go with this so she tried it out on a zucchini and after a little fiddling said it worked well. We didn't actually have an intended use (part of a wrap) so on a whim she cut it in pieces and dehydrated the thin sheet zucchini - with no added anything our playing has yielded a rival to kale-chips. I'm looking forward to using the thick slice blade to cut sheets to use like lasagna noodles. While the quality is good and the price-point understandable as a luxury rather than a necessity I don't expect to ever use it enough to reduce the cost per use to pennies - but still over all pleased with the product. The only "complaint" is the directions could have a bit more detail but fortunately one would have to try very hard to use it incorrectly.

This is a high quality, heavy duty accessory. Works effortlessly to create sheets of vegetables. I have used it to create sheets of zucchini that I used as wraps to make baked enchiladas... so delicious and easy to make thanks to this attachment. 5 star rating from me!

I like the magnets for quick easy setup. Now i can quickly make cucumber sheets for sushi rolls (instead of seaweed) and apples are turned into homemade “fruit by the foot” that is fun to eat. Even cor the kids. Next thing ill do is turn potatoes into chips, hoping it will much easier than slicing them,. I need to find a pringles shaped cookie cutter!

This accessory is interesting in its potential. Sweet and regular potatoes work well with this attachment and are great for casseroles, air-fried chips, baked wraps, and more.

I would give this ten stars if I could. Cucumbers, squash, potatoes all run right through like a breeze. Non-gluten lasagna and enchiladas are so easy, tasty and fresh spring rolls using cucumbers. It's awesome!

This is a good idea but the vegetables have to be a certain size in order for it to work. It also seems to waste a lot of the vegetable since you don't end up using all of it. Great product when everything works out though.

I love the concept, but does not work well on cucumbers. If you are usung zucchini, make sure you get some decent sized ones because the small ones you dont get much of a sheet off of them.

This thing is a blast! I've now made sheets of apple (Which I'm going to use on my dehydrator and see how it works as dried apple slices!) and potatoes. I used the potatoes to make a lasagna-like casserole and it worked beautifully!

My mom always used a knife or a peeler. But NOOOOO, not my wife. She has to spend $250 on a mixer with a paint job better than on my car, and the $100 for each attachment (yes, there's more than this one). Like we're made out of gold or something. But I love her and she get's out of my hair when she's playing around with this thing until she sees something else on Facebook she just has to have. Good luck....
