The Model 5 was the media darling speaker of 2021 next to the Wharfedale Linton speaker. This speaker has vintage vibes with modern performance. This speaker outperforms the JBL L100 for half the price. Its well built, clean midrange and treble. Composure is the name of the game with this speaker. Bass is not lightning quick, but honest being thats its a sealed cabinet design. After 100 hours of break-in, the treble went from veiled and cold, to clear, detailed, and controlled. Bass became cleaner as well. These seakers pack a punch that wont create ear fatigue after long listening sessions. If you want to further the clarity, GR Research has a crossover upgrade kit that will further enhance clarity. These speakers are highly recommended. Check out the reviews. They are just good fun!

I have these connected to a leak stereo 130 and they sound fantastic. The acoustic suspension design was a big selling point as I wanted to keep them close to the wall. The acoustic balance switch is a nice touch for helping adjust to room acoustics. The booklet that comes with is the most detailed I’ve ever seen and it will walk you through to a perfect set up. Directions say break in 8 hours but I felt they really opened up after 24-30. The center image is strong and my favorite part about these is the wide soundstage. You will be completely wrapped in music which is a great feeling. If you don’t listen to bass heavy music you will not need a sub. They are perfect for rock music but I also listen to rap so I felt the need for a sub. All in all I love these and they look fantastic.
