So I just received my Klipsch Flexus Core 100 2.1 soundbar about a week ago and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Recently we tried another top named brand soundbar and while it works, it does not work as good, or even as close as to what this new Klipsch Flexus Core 100 does. And the thing is, is the other top name brand cost almost twice as much as this Klipsch. Now I’ve never used anything Klipsch related before this soundbar and I’m so glad I switched over. This thing rocks and it just works.
Included in the package is the following:
* Klipsch Flexus Core 100 2.1 Soundbar
* HDMI Cable
* Power Adapter
* Full Sized Remote
* Wall Mounting Brackets & Hardware
* User Documentation
Before you get started it’s recommended to download the companion app from the App Store for iOS or the Google Play Store for Android. Once you have downloaded and installed the app, simply follow along with the app and you will be up and running in no time. The app allows you to update the firmware if needed as well as tweaking the setup to your liking.
On top of the Flexus 100 is 4 touch sensitive buttons: On/Off (Power Button), Source Button, Volume + Button, and Volume - Button. The app also doubles as a virtual remote. The back of the soundbar features all of the ports needed to get you up and running such as the HDMI port, an Optical port, etc. Although the Flexus is not feature WiFI, it does allow you to connect via Digital or Bluetooth. On the front of the soundbar is a display that lights up (and can be dimmed if needed) when you change the volume up or down.
One of the great features of this soundbar is the ability to add additional speakers as well as a subwoofer to this setup which we plan on doing in the future. But as a standalone soundbar, you will be amazed at how beautiful the Klipsch Flexus Core 100 sounds. I mean it blew away the other top named brand soundbar we recently tried. The full-sized remote also features all the quick access buttons you may need to make quick changes.
For amazing sound quality with or without the added bass, I 100% recommend this soundbar, especially for the price, you can’t go wrong with a Klipsch.

The Klipsch Flexus Core 100 is a great little soundbar that is easy to set up and has great performance. First off, it comes packed very nicely with all components very clearly marked. It even includes all hardware to mount the soundbar to the wall if you prefer. I opted to just place it on the stand in front of my TV, but it's nice to have the option and not have to buy any extra hardware if I ever want to wall mount it. Setup was a breeze. I simply plugged the HDMI into the ARC HDMI port on my TV and my TV instantly recognized that I plugged in a soundbar and switched audio output to that. I can control the volume with my regular TV remote, and the soundbar will even automatically turn on and off with the TV. Of course, I believe these features may vary depending on your TV. Sound quality really surprised me. For such a small soundbar, it has amazing sound. There's a surprising amount of bass considering there's no external subwoofer, although you can add one if you prefer. The soundbar also features bluetooth and usb connections as well, if you'd like to connect your phone or other usb device to play music. This worked pretty well, and while I won't be using it that often, it's nice to have the option for those that do see themselves using it. I should point out though, that as far as HDMI inputs, there aren't any. You just get the connection to the TV and that's it. So if you plan on using the soundbar as a switcher or receiver, look elsewhere. You'll need to plug external devices into the TV directly and then use the ARC to play audio through the soundbar. Overall I am very satisfied with this soundbar. Setup was simple, and performance was top notch. It even provides potential for growth, as you can add surround speakers and/or a subwoofer if you ever want to down the line. Highly recommended if you are in the market for a soundbar.

Klipsch partnered with Onkyo to produce the Flexus Core 100 model, combining Onkyo's tech with Klipsch's acoustics. At only 28" x 3" x 5", they've created a great compact soundbar that delivers exceptional sound. At 10lbs, it feels substantial - not some cheap plastic gadget.
The unit contains two 2.25" drivers and dual 4" subwoofers to create significant bass without an external subwoofer. If that's not enough sound for you, there are connections for a wired subwoofer (which can be any brand) as well as connections for Klipsch wireless subwoofer and surround speakers (available separately of course).
Hidden behind the front grill is a display with 1" alpha/numeric characters which are easy to see from across the room.
I connected my Flexus Core using an optical cable, to an older TV that didn't have HDMI eARC. Although there may be some sound limitations with this method, I didn't notice any. I have this set up in a 12x14 guest bedroom and it provides more than enough sound to fill the room. I did notice that with the optical connection, my TV remote wouldn't control the volume of the soundbar so unfortunately I still need two remotes - one to change the channel, and one for the volume. The TV remote does turn the Klipsch on and off though!
The box contains a QR code which leads you through the set up, although it's really pretty simple. The app allows EQ customization and the unit paired easily with my IPhone for great-sounding music.
For a compact soundbar (only 28" long), this is a great product that sounds terrific. With the ability to add future speakers it's a definite winner.

Is is a great bit of sound kit and finally a soundbar that can help replace my old wired 5.1 Sound system. You definitely will want to make sure your TV has an HDMI eArc connector for the best sound, but at least an ARC, to ensure the best possible sound from your movies, esp the ones with Dolby Atmos.
You can also mount this to the wall which I assume will give you better sound being more free floating then sitting on the TV stand, however I have mine on the stand and to be honest Klipsch engineered it with people like me as the Subs are pointing up from what I see so you get the feel in the room. You can either use the remote included or there application for your phone to EQ/Remote control the device and pair. You don't need anything fancy if you just want 2.1 sound, and I find the dialog boosting function to work well, I could actually hear it in the Chris Nolan movies I tested, which is awesome.
The main advantage to this system is you can add a proper Subwoofer and two Wireless speakers to this. I like the ability at a later time to add the wireless speakers and not have to run wires throughout the living room, just make sure they are in a place with Power.
I think is the great and well thought out by Klipsch and they are using Onyoko for the electronics and that combo created a very solid and well sounding soundbar that I am happy with and will most likely expand in the coming year to include the wireless speakers for true surround sound.

Packaging
The soundbar was shipped in a box that showed exactly what was in the packaging. I am not a fan of this but I understand and can appreciate that they are trying to minimize and save on packaging. But maybe reduce the size of the text to a small corner of the box so that neighbors don’t drive by and see from a distance what’s in the box. Upon opening the box there was another box. Once opening the second box under the first flap is a barcode that you can scan that will take you to a download option for ios or android to get the klipsch app (Klipsch Connect Plus) for set up. The soundbar is surrounded by packing foam and very secure. Underneath the bar are boxes with power and a hdmi cable, manual, remote and brackets. I do believe that one of the boxes could have been eliminated and the contents combined. The band securing the power cord together was a thoughtful touch as it is rubber and can be reused.
Soundbar
Setting up the soundbar through the app was not required. I was able to plug and play to a device through the cable. The app does provide a way to update the firmware of the soundbar and connect any additional speakers/subwoofers to the CORE 100 and configure. The app is simple to use and has a few options to tweak the sound manually or through presets. Along with a default sound mode of movie or music. The klipsch app can have issues responding at times and will display an ir failed on the bar. Waiting or closing and reopening the app resolved the issue. The app does need some work to improve the configuring/tweaking of the sound bar. The soundbar is larger than what it looks like in the pictures and has a lot of weight to it. There are two mounting point in the back of the bar if you want to mount it to something with the included brackets, or there are rubber feet on the bottom of the bar. Inputs are at the back of the unit with the power port, hdmi eARC, IR, usb c, optical, sub out, Klipsch transport and a pairing button. On top of the bar are touch sensitive buttons for power, input and volume up and down.. THe bar is a sleek black and looks really well made, quality material.
Pairing through bluetooth was simple. I was able to change the input using the input button on the top of the sound bar, select the pairing button on the back of the device, and my laptop picked it up right away. However the front of the soundbar stated pairing failed, even though the sound was playing through the sound bar. The message went away after a few moments. The led display only shows when making a selection on the device then goes to black. The sound while playing music is nice and crisp. The bar gets pretty loud, and still sounds nice, loud, full no popping. The soundbar fills a room, when at full volume it displays MAX which is 50.There was no noticeable delays in being connected through bluetooth. Video through youtube is really dependent on the creators audio, at times it can sound a bit muffled or behind a wall and whill have to be adjusted per video. I don't give it a knock against the sound bar. TV shows/movies the 2.1 soundbar is crisp and loud.
The soundbar is a big improvement on standard speakers and will not disappoint. I am happy with the ease of use and set up.The user manual is there but really not useful, and the packaging was okay but could have been better. Happy with the soundbar and its simple set up and ease of use

This Klipsch soundbar comes with brackets for wall mounting, an HDMI cable, remote, and power cord. Since it's a single unit, it's straight forward plug and play, no other setup required. There is a Klipsch app that allows more sound adjustment options than the remote alone, so I recommend downloading it for better sound customization. It includes an equalizer, music/movie mode, a bunch of presets like rock, pop, etc., and vocal enhancements.
I was impressed with the bass response of this soundbar. You get all the booms and rumbles from action movies that you would with a separate subwoofer, maybe not quite as enhanced. The highs and mid-range are also excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the sounds I got watching a Star Wars movie, it was immersive, and it didn't leave me wanting more from the soundbar.
A plus is that you can add to this soundbar - Klipsch offers surround speakers and a subwoofer that can be paired with it. You can buy the soundbar as a starter and add the additional speakers later.
For a stand-alone single soundbar I don't think you could find one with much better sound. As I mentioned it's immersive, the highs and mid ranges are excellent, and the bass is outstanding. I would definitely recommend it.

I selected to review this soundbar cause my daughter has a mounted TV and limited space so I thought this would be perfect. That was indeed the case. This soundbar allows to be able to mount it on the wall as well, so that is what we ended up doing is mounted it under her TV. Sound is great, at least compared to the TV speakers lol. It has a couple options for connecting it as well. It comes with a remote, and you can also control it via an app and thru your phone.
For smaller spaces, this is a great option as you will have an all-in-one sound system. It is easy to change from your TV sound to your phone. Which is great when you want to listen to music but then want to watch a show.
The bass is ok on this for what it is. Not to overpowering. You also have options to connect more speakers if you choose to upgrade later.
One thing I do wish they provided would be a template for mounting it.
Couple things that I like, like I mentioned, I like that they have an app that you can use. Basic, but still. It also does come with a remote if you rather use that. I also like that it has a screen that shows what your volume level is at.

Let me tell you that the Flexus Core 100 2.1 Sound System is very impressive in sound and appearance. It is packed with Dolby Atmos surround sound, dual 2.25-inch aluminum drivers, and dual 4-inch in-built subwoofers that have a very shallow bass response. Boasting 100 watts, it performs well with music or your favorite movies. It includes everything you need to get the sounds going, like the BLE Backlit remote, power cord, of course, 1.5m HDMI cable, 2 AAA batteries, And L-shaped mounting brackets.
It has expansion capabilities as well if you need more sound. I have this one in my den, and I'm thinking about incorporating the surround speakers and Flexus Sub 100, but right now, I'm okay with the sound I'm getting—a very compact and well-built speaker. You will also have even more functionality with the Klipsch Connect Plus app on your Android or iOS device. I also play music from my tablet via Bluetooth
Hey, but don't just take my word for it. Check it out. You will love it.

This is a really good sounding soundbar. I chose the Core 100 over the 200 due to space and price. The soundbar connects via eArc (or optical if that's your only option) and once connected via eArc the TV sets up volume, on, off settings. The sound is amazing for a smallish bar, but it's a Klipsch. They have really figured out how to reproduce sound ( both movies and music) with amazing results. The soundbar doesn't really need a sub but I picked up a 10" Klipsch and it really adds the low end that this just can't reproduce. Overall Klipsch makes quality sound equipment at a reasonable price point. Yeah you can spend $1000 and get better sound. But this won't disappoint at this price.

I did a lot of research and decided on this soundbar. They did a price match and I am more than happy with the results from Best Buy and the Klipsch soundbar.

Perfect attachment to my 55" LG. Love the form factor and love the sound without a subwoofer. This thing has great bass!!! Download the Klipsch connect APP and you can make her have as much bass/treble and vocals!!!
